High quality food for a fair price. Every meal feels like it's crafted perfectly! Each dish feels well thought out, and shines through with cohesive elements. I appreciate the portion sizes. Not too much, and not too little; just right. Our table got the ginger sesame salad w/shrimp, cilantro lime salad w/chicken, sharable brussels sprouts, chicken pot pie soup, lemon ricotta cookie, and a licac fizz specialty drink. All of it was amazing!! And you can never go wrong with any of their salads. The stand out was their brussels sprouts. They were bursting with savory, roasted flavor! The service was great. They were friendly and timely. Finally, the ambiance is fun, stylish, and classy, but not stuffy.

Loved the food here; it was fantastic! But service was a bit slow at noon, and it was pretty noisy. Sometimes really hard to hear my friend sitting across the table from me! Prices are a bit high, too. Would have been fine with the prices if it was a nice quiet place to enjoy my meal.

Would recommend The Grill at Nordstrom downtown. Only problem was some of the lettuce in my friend's salad was wilted...not very appealing. Had to ask for a new salad. My salad, however, was fantastic.

Arrived at 6:00pm. Told the hostess I was going to symphony across the street which begins 7:30pm. Order taken at 6:10. Finally arrived....just a Salad Nicoise....6:55! Had to eat quickly to leave by 7:15. Kitchen issues. Server was great. Kept apologizing. It was just a salad! Overcooked salmon fillet. I've usually had better food and more timely delivery. It's so convenient to Abravanel Hall.

Even though we had a reservation and were seated on time, it took over 40 minutes for our dinners to arrive. My husband ordered French Onion Soup for his appetizer. Did not receive it until our dinners were served. A table that arrived after we did, was served their soup (French Onion) 10 minutes before we received ours. Food was delicious as usual, but will rethink about going on a busy weekend

Delicious but simple. Must have the roasted Brussels Sprouts. Best ever! Cobb Salad with crabmeat and shrimp was filling and yet perfectly presented. Loved it! Server was great. Crowded night since symphony night just across the street. Allow yourselves 1 hour for dinner. No alcohol. Just soft drinks. Convenient location.

The front desk and price may put off the air of higher dining, but we found the staff to be very personable and accommodating. We ordered two starters and an entree to share. It was all amazing, and they split the entree between two plates without us even asking. ?
We are so happy this location has extended hours again. The food is delicious, service is attentive and it's the perfect location for dinner before events wt the Eccles, Abravanel Hall and other venues within walking distance. We especially love Alta as a server on Friday and Saturday. She really moves fast to provide excellent service. Thank you.
When paying for our meal we were told they no longer take Apple Pay. Not good when you don't carry credit cards. Embarrassing to find that out at the end of the meal. All of the frying equipment was not working and so various items were not available in our meals yet they weren't replaced and so we were charged the full amount. Some deserts weren't available due to electricity malfunctions. Sonia, our server was fantastic! I believe the cafe is no longer run or owned by Nordstrom. On the whole, not a great day for these people. Very poor performance. I wonder how they are going to win back our business.

I use to go here all the time and loved every menu item. Now that they have changed some of it up, I don’t feel like I’ll be trying to come back soon. Although, it is my top pick within city creek. Their fries are amazing, the chicken sandwich/burger is great, the French onion soup is great. Ultimately, their service is the best. I feel like they will always make sure your food tastes great and if not, they will make it right. They hold their service above all else which is a comfort I have when visiting this restaurant.
