First and foremost, I want to say that this place has excellent breakfast food for relatively good prices. The service is wonderful and the staff are friendly and attentive. Now! This is not a complaint and more of a suggestion. I always tip wait staff, but! We got our bills and gratuity was added to the total of the bill. I feel it fine to suggest a percentage amount but to automatically add it to a bill is a little out of form for me personally. I still paid the bill with gratuity added and also left a cash tip but! I understand that tips is how wait staff make the majority of their income but I would change this as it seems a little unprofessional.

The very best kind of diner. Cozy, clean, and comfortable, with just enough quirky tackiness. Our servers have always been perfectly attentive and friendly. It seems like employees are genuinely happy to work here, and it shows in the food. It’s always fresh-tasting and consistently better than comparable restaurants. Special requests are consistently fulfilled.

Their lemon chicken soup is the ultimate comfort food.

— Edit to add that we’ve now had Georgia as our server a few times. She recognized us on our latest visit. Such a lovely, sweet person.

Ordered the meat lovers hash bowl with chocolate chip pan cakes and a side of chorizo gravy.
The food was delicious and served hot. Try the chorizo gravy. It is great!

Pork chop and eggs were really good

Wow, what a great place to eat! The atmosphere is very much like walking into a warm, giant family breakage at your grandmother's house in the country! I had the beef teke steak with hashbrowns, and I literally couldn't finish it because of how big the portions are. You 100% get your money's worth there and won't leave hungry! The Olymoian is a treasure in the heart of Sugarhouse, and I DEFINITELY recommend doubt there to see how great it is for yourself. From table service to excellent food until you walk out the door, you won't be disappointed!

Got the Greek hash bowl and SMASHED it. Will be back.

Overpriced bland food along with tiny portions. Does it hurt to use seasoning?

One of the best diners in town. Wish it was open later!
