Authentic Mexican bakery with high quality pastries that come at a great price
Good sweet bread
Lovely bakery! Went here on a school trip and the staff was so lovely and kind! I bought a variety of pastries and they were all incredible! All my classmates also enjoyed the pastries and we plan to go again! Would totally recommend, such a great experience!
The truth is that everything is fine when it comes to the product, but the older woman who sells glasses, I don't know if she is an owner or an employee, but she is very vocal and bitter towards the customer, and I don't even want her to be a cashier.

It's a Mexican bakery - if you've never been in one (and shame on you if you haven't!), you walk in, grab a cafeteria tray and a pair of tongs, and go crazy. There's also a small grocery section though I've not availed myself of that yet, do they have what look like gelatin fruit cups in a number of flavors, some really remarkable cheeses, and more ornate pastries than in the glass cabinets. I went for the regular pastries, which were amazing; in addition to all the usual, they have thick slices of pound cake with chocolate icing that are moist and incredible. My favorite however is the bread, those big honkin football-shaped loaves that they bring out in metal "cupboards" and when you open them and smell all that fresh bread, your world is just set to rights. When I first arrived, I could not find the bread which I knew would be there, and one of the patrons was able to point me in the right direction, as fresh bread was being rolled out. My complaint is the service from the staff. The older woman at the counter does not speak English (though that's not really the problem) nor does she understand how to make change (which is a problem). She totaled my order and showed me the calculator (they don't have a cash register): $3.86. I handed her $5.11, and she simply glared at me and continued to shake the calculator at me. Change would have been $1.25, simple math but I couldn't show her that because I had left my phone on the charger in the car. I took back the 11 cents and wound up with a bunch of pennies I did not need and a lot of nasty looks. So go for the baked goods, but for the love of all it's holy, take exact change!
Parking: That parking lot is narrow and oddly shaped. Just be careful. There was also a gentleman holding the door for people on the outside. Not sure if he was panhandling, but he was polite and not obtrusive.

I went last week to get "Pan de Muerto". I paid $8.99 for a large piece. It was a decent deal. Today Nov 1st, I went again to the same location (by Redwood Rd), same bread size, the price was $14.99. Can you believe it? $6.00 more just because it's Día de los Muertos? No thanks. I went to Rancho Markets on 900 West. Almost the same size and inside a nice box $3.99. A smaller version made from scratch was $2.00. I'm posting the pics as a proof. Good bye Bakery Flores!

Fresh baked bread and pastries delicious
Authentic as it gets, the most modern thing it has is Apple Pay , cheap and will always go here, don’t pay attention to the bad reviews and try it yourself, those people don’t know great pastries until it hits them in the face.
