Place was empty when we went. The bar tender was a lot of
Fun and they had baseball on. Local Drafts were 7 dollars for a mug and they didn’t disappoint. Nice atmosphere and a great place for some good drinks. Lots of options for wine, beer, and spirits.
Great neighborhood spot, great music, amazing bartenders. If you are a foreign tourist BRING YOUR PASSPORT ITS THE LAW!! These are the laws of Utah, follow them while you’re in town.
Entered the pub on a Sunday. It was a hot day saw this pub was open. Walked in asked for ID, we are seniors but had our British drivers licence as ID, bar totally empty. Told as it was British drivers licence we needed passports. As we left I said we didn't carry passports in case mugged. Bartender said it was Utah State Law and everywhere would be the same. Funnily enough the previous night we had no problem getting served in another establishment same as Sunday at a different place, they were happy to serve 2 British senior tourists.
Cozy pub environment, incredibly welcoming and warm staff. Drinks were quick and served with a smile
I came here from out of town on a Monday night after a NHL game at the Delta Center. There was only one guy at the bar in charge of taking ID’s and bartending. Totally not fair to him to handle that size of crowd. Management needs to staff a couple more people at least to handle the crowds after games and other events. The one guy did the best he could but we were there for more than 10 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken. Again, totally not his fault.
I'm Canadian and have had my driver's license scanned in many places including Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Idaho, and more. This is the only place that refused to attempt to scan it and demanded I produce a passport instead.
The bartender clearly thought I was dumb enough to believe this so I just rolled my eyes and left. Another place a block away scanned my driver's license without issue using the same machine and welcomed me in.
If you're going to be an unwelcoming prick, just put a sign on the door that says "locals only" instead of making up easily falsified lies and save us all the trouble.

This is not an Irish Pub, so don’t expect Irish beer. It’s named after the building, “Patrick’s”. Has a good atmosphere, just not an Irish Pub.

The bartender is an ass hat but the shots are cheap. Please let me sit down before you ask me for my ID

A nice, chill place to stop in, relax, and get a very reasonably priced drink or two.
