I ordered them through DoorDash, and it was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! The omelette was so delicious the cheese was so creamy I thought it was cream cheese when I first cut into it! The egg itself wasn’t too thick or thin, all the ingredients tasted fresh! The scones were my favorite they were so fluffy and warm! The side of bacon was great! Not too crispy not too undercooked! I felt compelled to call the restaurant to tell them how delicious it was the young lady was very nice and professional. All in all I’m very impressed and satisfied! I will definitely order from them again!

PSA Beware! Hotcakes, coffee and scrambled eggs decent but Nothing homemade about the sausage gravy. The sausage is grey and didn’t agree with my stomach at all. I’m convinced it was not fried in a pan and no flour was added to make real gravy. My guess is frozen patties chopped up and cooked with what tastes like typical powder gravy mix. After closing my bill I told the waitress the situation, she politely said she’d pass it along however offered no reconciliation and nobody followed up at my table for the next 15 minutes I hung out and finished my coffee.

Food was amazing. The banana bread was out of this world. Service on the other hand, has a lot to improve. One in particular lady called Julie according to the receipt was rude, rush us to order in the first 3min. Made us feel like we needed to order and leave immediately. Made the entire experience unpleasant.

Blown away by this cafe. Was visiting SLC from out-of-state and was expecting your typical mid diner. Penny Ann's Cafe exceeded all expectations! The food was sooo delicious. We had the Heavenly Hot Cakes, French toast, fried eggs, eggs benedict, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage. We sat down fast, our server was very nice and quick, and our food came out piping hot. We'll definitely be visiting on our next trip!

Stopped by Penny Ann’s Café since it’s just around the corner from me. We were seated right away with no wait, which was a nice surprise, and our food came out fast. The service was quick and attentive throughout. The food overall was decent—though the peppers seemed pre-grilled and ended up a bit soggy. That said, the hotcakes were amazing as always and definitely the highlight of the meal.

It was soooo tasty. Had the big breakfast and there wasn't a single item that wasn't exceptional. If you are looking for a classic breakfast done right, this is the place for you. Staff was very friendly and super fast.
