We got recommendations for this pho spot from our friend who grew up in Ho Chi Minh City and boy did it not only meet but exceed our expectations! Located in the China Town strip center in South Salt Lake, my husband and I placed an order for pickup while both feeling under the weather after the holidays. Their pickup was so simple and the customer service was great! The broth was flavorful and each of our pho bowls were completely customizable which was so nice! It came with a TON of noodles and all of the fixings-what a treat! This is definitely the best pho that we've had since visiting Vietnam in January 2023. We felt like it was very affordably priced for how much food you receive-it was 2 meals for my husband and 3 for me! Two thumbs up recommendation from us. We look forward to going back!

Pho Hong Chau has landed at the top of my list for great Vietnamese soup places in the Salt Lake Valley. Over the last two years, I've eaten here at least five times and each time, have been impressed with the efficient staff, clean interior and consistently good food. Yesterday, I broke the mold and moved beyond my normal Pho order and indulged in a large bowl of fermented seafood soup. It had some funky sour flavors but overall, the fish and seafood in it weren't too strong or overpowering, creating a delicious meal and excellent broth. This restaurant is located just west of the south entrance to the Chinatown shopping complex.

One of the best viet spots in SLC, never had a bad meal here and even friends from our of town love it. Menu is very extensive with so many options to choose from. My favorites are the roast chicken (fried basically) egg noodles soup, wonton and cha siu egg noodles soup, and combination rice dish are all great. The sweet and savory mini pancake shrimp with coconut milk is really good and not found in many places. Def recommend when in the area, with many other food and dessert options in the chinatown supermarket complex.

After I ordered my food, I noticed how much dust was on the counter. That was my first clue that I should’ve left then. when I ordered my food for two people it came to 30 bucks then when I got the food home, the chicken was dry , the rice was disgusting, and the PHO the noodles seemed that they were glued together. I was so frustrated that I ended up throwing the rice and chicken out and making me and my husband a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

We had a very bad experience, the Nam Vang noodle soup was not delicious, the shrimp paste and tofu vermicelli was unpleasant, the meat was not fresh and it is worth mentioning that there were a few stalks of basil and a few pieces of cucumber, in general there were no more. As delicious as I thought, I felt like I wasted money coming here, I won't come back

Hong Chau is one of my favorite places to eat Asian food. They have a lot of different quality options that you cant get at other restaurants. Im sad to see they no longer do delivery but that won't stop me from stopping in once in a while!
