Omg this place was freaking delicious. The flaky crust was amazing. The savory and sweet pies were both so good.
We had the sloppy joes, blueberry lemon, cherry, apple crumble. All just amazing.

Fun little place to check out for pastries and small baked goods. We got the peanut butter bar and it was honestly delicious. If you get it, ask them to warm it up for you! Definitely planning on going back to try some of their savory items.

The most hole in the wall place ever, but truly such a hidden gem! We have come to 9th a million times for other locations we love and had never noticed the Pie Fight. If you blink you’ll miss this unassuming local business. We order the apple crumble mini pie, and the woman who took our order was the sweetest (not sure if she was the owner?). When we asked last minute if we could add a scoop of ice cream she did it free of charge, which she didn’t have to do and was so thoughtful.
The pie crust was buttery and flakey, the filling was delicious and they even warmed up the pie. Definitely a new favorite, and we will be coming back here again! Just a note, there’s only outside seating but no chairs probably due to it being winter. But there are benches nearby or you can take it to go.

I am here visiting from Texas where pies are delicious and I have to say Pie Fight is AMAZING. We had the blueberry lemon pie and the pulled chicken savory pie (with the amazing sauce). These pies are due to win awards if they haven't already. Also, Charlotte was a wonderful server. Thank you Pie Fight 🥧🥧🥧

We bought a frozen berry pie for Christmas dinner and it was super liquidy like berry soup and because of that the crust on the bottom was completely doughy. Even the top was a bit doughy. It was a very sad pie for Christmas. Expessive dessert we just threw away. I don't recommend!

It's a window in a wall and if you blink, you may miss the BEST PIE in town, probably in Utah.
The menu changes daily with a few daily staples. You should try EVERYTHING.
don't be fooled by the simple website, or the unassuming exterior. Go up to the window, press the doorbell button, and order a pie.
Sizes come in small and large handheld, or in whole traditional pie.
Sweet AND savory options available.
Daily varieties while supplies last.
I wish I lived there, but a 5 hour drive is a bit far to get a daily fix.
I will ABSOLUTELY be back.
Boston cream pie had the best cream filling.
White chocolate ginger: sweet and well-spiced.
Pumpkin: best-seasoned!!
Raspberry eggnog: our collective favorite, but not by very much. It's a REALLY CLOSE race.

These are really hand pies, and as hand pies, you should be able to hold them and not have them immediately fall apart. The take-home box was way taller than the pies are and was hard to put in the refrigerator because it’s so tall. I think these were too expensive for what they were. Taste was ok.

Wow!
Great hand pies!
Trust me and get a Boston Cream Pie without the chocolate topping. The vanilla pudding they make for the filling is just awesome. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate sauce anyway, but I'm sure the chocolate would overpower that wonderful filling.
Also got a blueberry lemon and a Carmel apple, both are spectacular.
Just a great bakery.

Funny thing, my girl and I was looking for a place to to have dessert and she saw on google Pie Fight that it has pretty tasty pies. As we drove up we saw their sign but in the window are T-Shirts which was odd. We walked in the shop and they had shirts and hats still odd so we left and we to eat at the chicken place down the street ( that will be another review ). Later we look on google again and thought it has to be in the back... nope. We saw the menu on the window then another customer came up knocked on the window and a gal came out and took her order, duh! We then ordered two Boston cream smalls, not knowing what we were in for. OMG holycrap it was so delicious!! I keep thinking we should have tried the savory one too. Next time definitely going to have savory & sweet!!!
There's sitting area benches in front on outside or you can try to walk with the sweet pie but I wouldn't, if you find a hole suck the cream out or it will get messy, but it's soo good ... drooling just thinking about it.
Wheelchair accessibility: To the roght of the stairs you can go up a ramp.

Drove across town to get some Boston Creams today only to discover that Pie Fight has cut the size of their mini pies in half without adjusting the price. $5.50 for a 2" by 4" pie with almost no filling?! What a joke! So tired of businesses treating us like this. They were expensive at their original size. Has been my favorite dessert place since moving to Salt Lake, but I won't be going back.
