Please don't waste your time with this place. They are closed 3 days a week in the middle of the week and are closing down on 9/1/24 and have no incentive to give you good food or service.

I woke up this morning and checked with Google *and* Pig & a Jelly Jar's phone system for their business hours. Both resources said they were open, so I proceeded to drive 45 minutes to Salt Lake City for breakfast. When I arrived, a sign on the door said that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Real nice.

My boyfriend made a pickup order at 11am so that when he got there at noon the order would be ready for our lunch break. Not only was it not ready, but he had to wait nearly 15 minutes for his food. I didnt know that it took an hour and 15 minutes to make an omelette, a breakfast sandwich, and potatoes. Then, when we started to eat the food, it was flavourless. They didn’t provide any sauces in the bag to try and help the flavour either. The potatoes were dry, the eggs and veggies seriously were not flavourful at all. We will not be ordering from this place again.

Solid food.
Like that it's counter service.
Don't love the forced 18% "service fee" (tip), that's not getting rid of tipping. Restaurants should pay their workers a fair wage and charge what they need to be profitable, not sneak in a tip.
very quick friendly service, good food

Not a massive menu but very good food choices that can be customized. Cute environment. Very nice staff.

I had the chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was very good, with a delightful crunch. Unfortunately it was very bland. If this was intended to be one of their best dishes then I worry this place doesn't live up to the hype.

Food was ok, quality has definitely decreased on some of the items. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich used to come with hand cut fries and now they are served with frozen crinkle cut fries. The really unfortunate part though, is that they tack on an 18% “hospitality charge” when you dine in. All they do is bring your food and drinks, they don’t come to check on you and you need to get back in line if you want to get a refill on a drink that doesn’t come with any. I don’t remember seeing a sign stating this would be applied so just a heads up if you dine in.
I hate to leave a bad review but this is really disappointing. I've always enjoyed their food a lot in the past, but today I ordered a burger on door dash, and received food with a moldy bun. I thought it tasted a little funny, but didn't see the mold on the bottom until I was halfway through. Now I have to deal with bad food poisoning, not fun.
Be careful ordering door dash, hopefully in-store customers get it better

Haven't been since it first opened and it is definitely not the same. Recipes must have changed because the flavor was not there and it left me feeling gross. Additionally, there is an included 18% gratuity. I am very pro service industry and always tip 20% to my SERVERS. Pig and Jelly is now a fast casual where I ordered at the front, had to get up to find napkins, get up to find boxes, and not a single person asked how my meal was nor topped off my coffee or water.

Food was great, not much service opportunities. Dont love the extra 18% add on BEFORE getting food or service though.
