I was disappointed at first with my prior experience BUT I am updating & editing my review as the owner/manager of this amazing place has responded quick & professionally with providing a great resolution to my issue.I do highly recommend Protein Foundry and I would never go anywhere else to try their amazing Rio Açaí Bowls or their protein shakes as other places that I’ve tried were just too sweet or not hitting my taste buds! I have had only great experiences with the 2 locations and a few times w/ the newer one close to downtown in an area of a younger-uptown population. Totally understandable! I asked for a protein smoothie with an extra scoop of protein powder. Not only did they charge $3 for that but the shake barely had any of its listed ingredients in it, was warm, and the person who made it threw away quite a bit that didnt fit in the small 12oz cup. Meaning, I didnt get all the protein i wanted and paid for. For $11, this should be minimum 16oz and preferably a 20oz cup, cold, full of the listed ingredients, and made right. It's not the first time i've had this experiences. The location was freezing cold, only one person working, and they were very oveloaded taking orders and making smoothies, and my experiences whave been consistently terrible, overpriced and a joke. I'm pretty objective and know this is harsh feedback, but it's fair after a pattern of 4-5 negative experiences. It's just more wannabe Utah business owners trying to do something cool (like in Vegas or LA) and failing. Def would recommend people avoid this place.

I will be back! My sister and I stopped here for a smoothie to get our day started. They were both delicious. I ordered the PB Edge. Loved it. My sister ordered the Mounds of Joy, but subbed PB for the almond butter. I think I liked hers even more. Cool atmosphere right in 9th.
I LOVE this place. My husband and I discovered it in 2021 and since then it's been our to go place when we want something healthy and quick. I love the ambiance, it's really modern. All their shakes, bowls are tasty! This is the place where I discovered that cottage cheese was delicious with avocado and and olive oil (their gourmet toast CALI). I have tried a lot of their açai bowl and my ultimate favorite is VELVET SAMBA!

Why do I have to tip before I pay? If the food or the service is not good, can the sale be reversed? How about paying your employees appropriately instead of asking customers to tip before food and service. Just a thought.

we got the Angels Landing and the Salty Roma toasts and they did not disappoint. at first glance these dishes show careful craftsmanship and visual aesthetic artistry and at first bite they re-emphasise the care that i’m sure went into their creation. the space was clean and bright and the staff was quick but not very friendly. overall, would recommend this place to locals and visitors alike.

The service was slow but the workers weren't necessarily the issue, it seemed like a flawed system. I tipped a dollar on my 16oz protein shake, making my order $9.43. This is the worst protein shake I've ever had from an establishment. I wouldn't have been upset about the price if the flavor would've been good. I've worked local before and I completely understand the cost of goods; but two things that justify cost were lacking quality/flavor and efficiency of the service/wait time. Again, if the shake tasted good I would've been happy, but this was such a disappointment! I will not be coming again, looked like others were enjoying their bowls though.
