If you’re looking for an excellent breakfast place, right in the heart of 9th&9th, this is the spot. The front of house staff are all outstanding. The food is consistently great and the coffee is terrific. Easy to stop in and grab just a coffee on the fly if that’s what you need!

Preface* Publik is my favorite coffee in SLC and I am a regular at one of the locations. So I decided to try this place again after the refresh.
To start my coffee was burnt pretty badly and I chalked it up to how busy things were.
I ordered the Publik Hash, which was bland but okay. My partner ordered the Toast & Gravy and could not finish her food, so I tried it, the potatos were not cooked all the way(raw in the middle )and the gravy was super watery.
The last item was a breakfast burrito, which my brother stated was great until he pulled a hair out of it and could not finish.
The service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. I just wish the food was as good as it's potential. Super bummed as I've loved everything else Publik has done including Publik Kitchen before the reset.

I’ve been here a handful of times and never been disappointed. I LOVE their French toast, and their unique coffee flavors are fun to try. They have something for everyone on the menu, and the servers are all kind and great at having normal, real conversations.

Sunday brunch at Publik Kitchen is always a solid choice. The atmosphere is trendy and even paced. Doesn't feel rushed and the service is always kind and efficient. (If you're in a hurry, probably not the spot, in a good way). The space is open, intimate and both patios make for good outside dining if you are in needed outside vibes. Had their seasonal Solstice Jubilee, latte with white chocolate vanilla bean infused with orange extract topped with pink peppercorn and it was a 10/10! The Publik Hash was the meal and it was also delicious! Def a must try if you're in SLC and need a new fun spot to eat and hang out.

The food was fine, coffee is ok. They have some weird stuff in the bathroom instead of a soap, I wasn’t thrilled to chew my french toast and think whether that salt really did anything to my hands after I wiped my ass. Use normal soap, bathroom isn’t the place to try being original.
