You have to get their blueberry pancakes with buttermilk syrup it was delicious and for hospital food. Would definitely recommend!

We love the food in Rainbow cafe, so we stop in any opportunity that we have !

Really can't speak to the quality of the food or even the price because I can't seem to be able to hit the magic minutes where did is served. I missed breakfast at 9:35 (my daughter was taken in late for a c-section). Nothing looked like breakfast. Just got back from trying to get dinner. At 5:25, dinner service was not only over but looked as though it never happened. I asked thinking it would be odd to wait until 6 for dinner but... Nope, at 5:25, service was over. Plan to snack or eat out.

Great food at nice prices, but they should bring back the little fridge that had fry sauce and ranch dressing.

Overall, it's a great place to eat. I appreciate the good prices. The only reason it's not 5 stars like almost everything else in this Hospital, is because of the service. They have ludicrous hours (closing the grill at 6:45, the peak of dinner time???). My wife and I have also noticed multiple times where the grill workers will move at a snails pace from 6:15 until they close it at 6:45. I don't know if that's intentional, but it's frustrating to be in line for 25 minutes and then they just close the grill station. At no other time of day, no matter how busy, does it take 25 minutes at the grill.

In reality the rating should be a little bit higher (the food was better than nothing). It blows my mind that I can't get anything with sugar in it in an IHC hospital. Do the powers that be know how hard it can be to get through a trying time? Diet soda can only take you so far. Sometimes it is nice to have a little pick me up.

Cheap and fast food. Good alternative to the university students who are tired of eating at the student union. Much healthier food than the union restaurant.

The menu is not as big as I would like to see but they try to keep a rotation on the items Thanks for everything you do

Perhaps my review would be kinder (slightly) if I hadn't previously eaten here at Primary Children's over the course of a week in 2006 when I was here after my son had an emergency appendectomy. At that time, comfort food was offered and gladly received and enjoyed, although they also had healthy offerings. Fast forward to the present, where Intermountain Healthcare's policy of juice or diet drinks smacks of health fascism. (I really need to remember to smuggle in my own drinks next time). That being said, I was sorely disappointed with the mystery meat corn dogs and sweet potatoes fries and, had I not been struggling with low blood sugar, I would have passed on all of it.Even if you are struggling with the health care needs of that precious family member, I would still recommend going elsewhere or, possibly, having food delivered. Long gone are the days of their classically good food.
