Always a delicious meal here. I absolutely love the mole, especially Amarillo, Negro, and Coloradito. Supremely tasty. Service is usually good, but the restaurant is always busy, so service can get sketchy. I come here every time I'm near Salt Lake City and I've never been disappointed.

I went to Red Iguana 2 today for lunch and had such a wonderful experience, largely because of the incredible hostess who greeted me. From the moment I walked in, she welcomed me with a warm, genuine smile and made me feel immediately welcomed. She is truly an excellent example of what a host should be: kind, attentive, and welcoming. Her patience and friendliness stood out so much and made a lasting impression on me. Honestly, her positive attitude and care were the reason I decided to stay and eat there for lunch. Customer service like this makes all the difference, and she deserves recognition for creating such a welcoming experience. I will absolutely be returning thank you, Red Iguana 2, for having such an amazing team member at your front door!

We went on a Sunday, when they were heavily understaffed. I am not against the service there, that's why they got a 2, but I am against the management there. Why would they not hire sufficient folks for a Sunday? It was clearly crowded. First, they were rude. They needed a whole party for us, which is fair, but we were willing to place an order for all of us, and the rest of the party was literally 5 minutes away. Then the host wouldn't take our order for 15 minutes after we sat down. We are just waiting there.. Every time we needed something, we would have to wait for 10 minutes minimum to get hold of someone. Extremely poor service and rude staff. Please hire enough staff so they are not understaffed and can focus on service.

This place is always busy, but it's so worth it. The mole is just incredible, every single one has its own unique flavor. We had the mole sampler and it was the perfect way to try them all. Our server was amazing and really gave us some great recommendations. I got the mango enchiladas and they were so good, just packed with flavor. The food is super authentic and you can tell it's made with care. Even with the long lines, they move you through pretty quick. It's definitely a must-try if you're in Salt Lake City. We'll be back for sure.

Some of the best and most authentic Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Great peach margarita and most unique authentic enchilada sauce I’ve ever tasted-you could really pick up on the cinnamon-delicious!! Also quick food and great wait staff.
Red Iguana 2 never disappoints! We got there right at opening to avoid the long line, which I'd definitely recommend. Our server was fantastic and gave us great recommendations. We had to get the mole sampler—it's the reason we came! Each one was so complex and delicious. I got the Puntas de Filete a la Norteña and the steak was cooked perfectly. The flavors are just so authentic and you can tell everything is made with care. It's always busy for a reason, and it's 100% worth the wait. We'll be back on our next trip to SLC for sure

Food was amazing. Love their mole. However. According to the server they now charge for every soft drink refill. Only found about about it wife and I were charged for 3 sodas each. Really upsetting. Refill here have always been free and if your changing that you need to let your guests know up front. Not surprise them with the bill

Found pubic hair in my rice and beans ... Like visibly sticking up out of the The untouched Beans and cheese and the manager really didn't care. The host was embarrassed and said they would make it right and we wouldn't pay for that meal... Bill came with no discount. I said something to the host and got the manager but he really didn't even seem to care or even really wants to talk to me.
Nice customer service... It is as garbage.
