The crusted ahi tuna sandwich special was yumm this evening and their calamari is always a winner. But tonight the all star was our server Zealand 🏆 be sure to ask if he's working next time you stop in!

A Restaurant Owner Who Goes Above and Beyond
My wife, son, and I just arrived in Salt Lake City for the first time with our two dogs. After walking around downtown and being turned away from several restaurants, we were getting pretty hungry and discouraged.
I walked into Red Rock Brewery and asked the hostess if we could sit outside to eat with our dogs. She was very friendly and, while explaining they didn't allow dogs, she kindly offered some suggestions for other dog-friendly spots in the area. As I was calling another restaurant, the owner Bob overheard our conversation and came over to chat.
Bob was incredibly welcoming and let us know that dogs were actually allowed. He personally set up a table for us so we could finally sit down and enjoy a meal. This act of hospitality made all the difference after a long day of traveling.
The experience alone earned our loyalty - we'll absolutely make Red Rock Brewery a stop every time we're in Salt Lake City. Bob's kindness and customer service are exactly what makes a restaurant memorable.
And the food? The beer is excellent, the mozzarella wedges are fantastic, the BBQ ribs were really good, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for great food, good beer, and genuine hospitality, Red Rock Brewery is the place.
Thanks Bob - you made our first visit to Salt Lake City one we won't forget!

My daughter and I have gone to red rock at the mall in Murray. I thought it was a very good, I had the tbone.. we were downtown last month, and stopped by red rock. The steak.was very tough and I didn't enjoy it. I took it home for my dogs, they enjoyed it. Today ago I said , hey , let's go to red rock , I meant the mall. Threw caution to the wind iand order the t bone. It was green. I cut one bite out of it and saw the green and didn't eat it.. waiter never asked if there was a problem.. I would never let my dogs eat that. Why would red rock let me see that? Just another reason to go vegetarian.

Got Food Poisoning

I had high hopes for Red Rock Brewery on my first night in Salt Lake City, but it turned out to be a major disappointment—and unfortunately, the beginning of a ruined trip. I ordered the bread pudding soufflĂ© for dessert, and the moment I cut into the middle, something tasted off. It had a moldy flavor, which made me stop eating it after a bite or two. I didn’t think too much of it at the time. By the next day, I knew something was seriously wrong. I became extremely sick—diarrhea, vomiting multiple times, chills, and severe fatigue. I spent the entire day bedridden and missed out on nearly three days of my trip due to what I can only describe as food poisoning from this restaurant. Even now, I’m still not feeling fully recovered. It’s incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially since dessert is usually the safest bet on any menu. I honestly can't even look at dessert anymore without feeling nauseated. Serving food that may have been spoiled or improperly stored is unacceptable. I truly hope the restaurant takes food safety more seriously because this was a truly awful experience that left a lasting impact.

When you charge such high prices your customers should be able to have free parking OR alerted with more visible sign as you rush to get off that busy street that you need to pay for parking. Maybe ask ppl as they come in if they had seen the parking fee.. EVERYONE IN THAT PARKING ALLEY HAD A $ 61.50 parking ticket on their car. What a TRAP

Red Rocks Brushetta is my favorite meal/appetizer from any restaurant there is. There was a point that I drove from Tooele to Salt Lake weekly (maybe multiple times a week a few times) just cause I crave it so much. The only thing that would make me happier is I'd they brought back the salmon/cream cheese/caper appetizer they used to have!!!

Man!!! This place serves good food , great beer and has superb service. Everything was great, I only wish there would have been a bit more tentacles in the calamari and even for a couple of bucks more, a bigger portion size of it. Ian C. , our helper was an amazing human and he got a hug from me, I am sure he remembers. Wholly Beer was stupid delicious!!!!
Cannot wait to go back.

Great food and great beer. Lasagna was better than most Italian restaurants. I was expecting something pretty mundane in a brew pub but was pleasantly surprised. My guests had salad, one with salmon and one with steak and both thought they were great. The Back in My Day IPA was also excellent. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Atmosphere was good and upbeat.

It is fantastic place if you are not in a hurry. We had to wait a long time for our food, but they brought everything at once: salad, appetizers, and main dishes. All together. So it left us to wonder: should we eat appetizers first and let the main dishes go cold, or start with main dishes and leave appetizers for dessert.
