I couldn’t decide, so I ordered both. The seatrout at Rouser is super fresh, grilled to perfection, and melts in your mouth. The gnocchi is a must-try. Never had one quite like it. Can’t wait to make the drive from Wyoming to try the salmon and avocado fry bread 👀! Friendly staff, and highly recommended experience.

Rouser is exceptional! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and food that’s both creative and perfectly executed. Every dish felt thoughtful and delicious, from cocktails to dessert. A true gem in Utah, we can’t wait to come back!

They sat us 15 minutes late for our reservation, they argued who would help our table right in front of us, didn’t get us water or say hi until 30 minutes, forgot our appetizer, didn’t get food out to us for an entire hour after we ordered. We sat there with nothing, and the Photo Booth took our 18 dollars and never sent us our pictures. The food was good though. I would not go here as the service was so bad that it over shadowed decent food. The restaurant was very chaotic. Total waste of $170.

Third time eating at Rouser. First time was a great experience. Second time service was slower but food was good. Third time, we will not be back- service was terrible, food cold. The price is not aligned with the experience. All three times valet was a disaster. Very disappointing.

One of the two appetizers we ordered showed up after 65 minutes of waiting for the food. We were then charged for the missing appetizer, two additional ones we didn’t order and double charged on our drinks. The manager fixed the issue but didn’t comp anything for all the mess ups.

But that was just the start the food was just meh, the cassoulet didn’t remotely resemble a cassoulet. It was charred cabbage on top of unseasoned beans. Terrible. The osso buco needed seasoning and the rissoto was flavorless. The pork rib appetizer we did get was ok, but honestly I could have made something better.

Restaurant is terrible with a cliche atmosphere that’s so tired and trendy, it was so loud in it you spend most of the time saying “what?” to your dining partner, the food ranged from terrible to ok, and the service was the worst I’ve ever had.

Don’t go.

Believe I got food poisoning from this meal.

The service was good and flavors were tasty.

The osso buco was cold. Inside of a refrigerator and improperly re-heated cold.

I will admit, I didn’t let anyone know as I didn’t want to complain or cause problem.
All the flavors of everything was great, despite the cold meat.

My best food experience in Utah in a little while I mean the food was just fantastic. The steak tartare …so good and they had a strawberry dessert that was tangy, savory sweet just perfect. Wait staff was also top, special shout out to amber who was a delight

Had a great evening here. Our waitress, Patricia, went above and beyond and every dish we tried was truly remarkable. Recommend!

We made a reservation for a birthday dinner, only to arrive and be told that both valet and the hotel/restaurant parking lot were full because people attending a nearby show had taken the spaces. No one mentioned this when we booked. In fact, we were told valet parking would be available. It felt wrong that non-diners were allowed to take up parking, leaving actual customers with no options. We ended up parking six blocks away and walking through the rain.

Once seated, the food was just as disappointing. Our appetizer was so oversalted it was almost inedible, and the $50 Wagyu steak and fries tasted like a tough, cheap cut. When we shared our concerns with the waitress, her only response was “okay.” No apology and no offer to make it right.

This was one of the worst dining and service experiences I have had in a long time. I eat out daily and have been to many restaurants in this price range, and this one falls far short. This happened in March 2025, but I was reminded of it when one of my employees suggested Rouser as a venue for our company event. I immediately ruled it out and decided it was worth sharing my experience now.

If you like your chicken bloody and the meat opaque and then be told by the chef that it's all good, nothing wrong with a little blood, this is restaurant for you.

This restaurant is fantastic! We came for dinner and mentioned to the host that we were celebrating our anniversary. We were given a complimentary drink and dessert to celebrate. It was a really nice touch. We had the Beef Tartare to start and I ordered the Pork Osso Buco. Great portion sizes on both and absolutely delicious food (Osso Bucco won the night). Service timing was also perfect. This is a great spot for an upscale meal that is worth the price point.
