Next to no staff, food was overpriced and wasn't that great. Definitely better places to eat in SLC.

Incredibly loud. One server. No bartender. One person in the kitchen. Our food and drinks took forever to arrive. Just seems like they need more staff. Food was fine. Loud and cold in there. Meh overall.

What kind of restaurant doesn’t have a single vegan option even with modifications? I ate over salted Brussels sprouts for a birthday dinner 👁️👄👁️
Roux is one of the top restaurants in SLC and needs to be talked about more! The space is understated but very well designed, the menu is beautifully curated, service outstanding and the food is always excellent. We've been several times for dinner and weekend brunch and have always been extremely impressed.

Had a great experience tonight, thanks to our polite and attentive waitress. I wish I remembered her name. The food was fresh, flavorful, and worth the price. Will definitely be back soon.

Roux never lets me down. Not with their service, their evolving menu, their craft cocktails, or their vibe. They simply impress and are so consistently good that I can't help but keep going back.

We're so bummed - we were really looking forward to going to this place, based on a menu on their website, but apparently that ended up being over a month old (were able to crosscheck with a photo on google reviews). The old menu had a couple vegetarian entree options, which is why we booked a meal here, but it turns out that their current menu just had one entree. It would be great to keep the online menu current for people with dietary needs. We'd love to make a visit if they provide more than one entree option for people who don't eat meat or just don't want to eat meat at that meal.
This was just a wonderful dining experience. Great vibe, amazing service, food like art, large portions, great drinks! Can’t say enough!!

I should be seeing Roux on more lists of the best dining in Salt Lake. The food here is near immaculate; well prepared and creating unique flavors you don’t typically find in the Mountain West. I highly recommend the Harissa Chicken (I had a bite that nearly made me weep tears of joy) and the Tonkatsu Pork Loin (an unexpected take on a classic pork chop and applesauce with slaw). Please do not miss out and patronize this restaurant; I hope they are around for a very long time!

Roux was wonderful! My new fav spot for dinner. They've got a curated menu and you can tell they execute highly on everything they're offering; if it's not good, it's not going to be on the menu. The food was so delicious, we had the harissa chicken and the pappardelle with sausage, both were bursting with flavors that melded together harmoniously. And their complementary focaccia table bread was so melt in your mouth good. Can't wait to return and try another dish. Our server was so friendly and sweet, definitely made our evening enjoyable.

Best benny I’ve had in SLC. Beautiful interior, feels like an elevated dining experience. Delicious house made biscuits and English muffins. Attentive and kind staff. Can’t wait to come back to try their dinner!

Let me tell you… This food was some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. I am a picky eater and when I sat down and saw this menu, I was super worried that I was not going to find anything to eat. There were spices that I didn’t know, Sauces that I didn’t know. But oh my goodness the food was so tasty. There were so many layers of seasoning. I had the chicken dish and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The Brussels sprouts and funeral potatoes were so good I could have eaten those for a meal only. Then the desserts?!?? I was so full but I had to keep eating!!!
Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! I was so happy that my friend chose this place and I cannot wait to take people to this restaurant who come from out of town.

Great restaurant - beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and top notch service from Jack! Everything was excellent, especially the Brussels sprouts and cheese cake - the best I’ve ever had!
EVERYTHING! The food was SO good!!! One of the most fully satisfying restaurant meals I’ve had in a long time. The sausage pasta will be on my mind for weeks (dip the cloud-soft focaccia in the sauce, trust me), and I’ll be renewing that memory before then. The ambience was so comforting, just felt homey and upscale at the same time. The service was fast, and the server, Maxx, was above and beyond helpful. Also LOVED the bread and the Pave appetizer. The chicken my wife got was super good too. I left just really really happy!

The restaurant is lovely, the atmosphere, excellent. We ordered the pork belly appetizer, and the entrees were the trout and the hanger steak. Plates were well composed with excellent pairings and were well spiced. The hanger steak was under cooked, despite very clear communication on how the preparation was requested. They were also out of the Basque cheesecake, a highly anticipated item by the dining party. I would visit again, but I would call first to ensure menu item availability. The undercooked steak is, however, inexcusable at this price point.
