So I remember during the height of the pandemic I got food from here once or twice. I remember liking it. This was back in 2020 so 3 years agoish. We went the other night and it’s gone downhill. The person I was with didn’t mind their entree as much, but my Alfredo was very watery. Almost like poorly cooked noodles in Alfredo soup with a dry piece of chicken on top. It was the definition of mediocre. It wasn’t disgusting, but considering we paid over $15 for this entree, it has to be better than mediocre. Their beer selection seems nice though. We didn’t drink, but they sure did have a nice variety in that department. They have no business, in my opinion, charging $15+ for that kind of lousy food. Restaurants are struggling to keep their doors open right now and it wouldn’t surprise me if this place were to not be around in the next year or so. What was very good was our waitress. She left a little smiley thank you on our recipe. She was also attentive and fast. Something has happened to this place’s quality.

Great beer, wings, and pizza. What could be better? Our server, Zoie, was also so sweet and attentive. Definitely coming back!
My wife and I were looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat on a Friday date night but only had one hour before our next plans. She is pregnant and almost any food makes her sick, but for some reason was craving Alfredo chicken pasta. We were about to make a normal stop at Olive Garden but fearing long wait times and a noisy environment with lots of strong food smells we decided to try a smaller establishment and happened upon Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta. To our surprise at 5 o’clock on a weekend we were the only people in the place. (luckily a few other families rolled in shortly after so that we weren’t alone). The building, decor, and tables were definitely outdated and in bad shape but we were quickly whisked away to a table before we had a chance to back away. I am sure glad that we were! The service and food were quick and pasta was absolutely delicious. Owning a small family owned business myself, I understand how difficult it is to find time and allocate money towards remodels that don’t have immediate returns on investment so I don’t blame them at all for the position that they are in, especially in the economy nowadays, but they can make a little improvements here and there and eventually it will make a great overall impression. Give these guys a chance; the food is wonderful, and they have been around long enough to prove that they can compete with the big franchises… They just need a little help!

The pizza was tasty, but the pasta and bruschetta were not good at all. If you want pizza it’s a good place to go.
Wow. This place has gone downhill. We hadn't been in a few years and remembered it being much better. We came on a Saturday evening and the place was dead, yet it took almost an hour to get our food, and someone in our party never even got their order - 20 minutes after the rest of us got our meals and we were almost finished we tracked down our server to tell her to just cancel that order since it didn't seem to be coming anytime soon. The server didn't even say anything and just walked off. As far as the food goes, for those of us that actually got our meals, the best word to describe it was bland. Three different pasta dishes all required a large amount of salt and none of them appeared to have the cheese promised in the description. We ordered an appetizer as we had 2 starving toddlers with us and it still took 20 minutes before we got that - and were charged for "extra" pita - we had half of the dip leftover after using all that "extra" pita. We all left with a bad taste in our mouths from both the service and the food.
This restaurant is great. My order was messed up by a door dash order and I called them and I they fully explained what happened and ratified the problem. Have had food from them before and it is great!
Forgot our appetizer, no drink refills, side came out cold then they microwaved it to bring back out, then over charged us too. The burger was good, but not $16 good, and the service didn't make up for the difference either.
Parking: Parking is down a tiny alley shared with fiddlers elbow and next to the bank. Seems like their is a better way to lay out the lot because what they have is awful

Excellent service. The wild mushroom and sausage pasta was so good! Love the beer/wine/spirits list they have. Also super comfy, no frills but not a diner. Will definitely be back.

For Valentine's I treated my wife and family to a take out meal from Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta. My wife ordered (4) kids' pizzas (adding pepperoni), fries, and two Black & Blue Steak Salads. First shocker was that the total for the meal came to over $90.! They charged $2.75 for the pepperoni on each pizza! And the pizzas weren't anything special. Moving on, she asked for her steak Medium-Well. But it came cooked through to the point that she called it like eating jerky. She didn't even finish it. Meanwhile while we're eating my treat, she mentions how disappointed she is that all the restaurants we used to love are no good any more.:0( I spent over $90 for a not-happy Valentines. :0(
Just not worth it, food has little flavor (I'll admit the artichoke dip is delicious still) but I need more than that to make me wanna come back.

The steak & mushroom pizza was AMAZING, but not as amazing as our server, Rick. He was so kind, so friendly and helpful. He joked around with us, got us anything we needed or wanted- even before we had to ask. He even made sure we had everything we needed for our 4 month old baby we had along with us, even taking the time to smile at him and laugh with him... even helped us make him a bottle and carried it out on the serving tray like it was a special order!I have been to many states, many restaurants and I'm confident when I say that it was seriously one of the best interactions/experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. Managers, or anyone that reads this- this man needs a RAISE and all the good tips. If we had more humans like Rick, the world would be a better place!
This place and it's people have given up. There were many dirty tables throughout the place, and that level of grime you get when a place has been there for decades and the people cleaning it dgaf, and the owners must not either. An off-duty server sitting at the bar directed us to seat ourselves. We waited for 30 min for the one server on duty (for the whole place) to come around and help us. She was masked up, but definitely looked like she wasn't feeling well. The off-duty server was dining in a booth behind us, and our server stopped to chat with them many times. Food took another 45 min. One table came in and then left after 20 min of sitting there. Service was sporadic throughout, same tables were still dirty when we left. Overall visit took over 2 hours. I know this place shares a kitchen with the bar next door, which was packed, so maybe they also share servers and this restaurant is an afterthought? Food is okay, but not great enough to overlook the awful parts of the dining experience and come back.
Came over to watch a soccer game and eat lunch. There were only 2 other families there when we arrived. Asked if we could turn on a game that was on ESPN. Hostess tells us that only football is allowed to be shown on Sundays! ?♂️Multiple TVs here. I love football just as much as anyone (huge Broncos fan). However, can we please make an exception here?
That's not a Margherita pizza. Pasta felt like more like healthy choice frozen meal. Salad was decent. More of a bar atmosphere
I didn’t understand what Id ordered apparently. I asked a question about another photo and ordered what I thought the other photo was. I ordered the Salmon Glazed with Rosemary and Lemon Infused Honey and I was impressed with what I got. Its a hint of sweet and the salmon was tender.
