We were very hopeful about the food here because there are quite a few great reviews. We ordered 5 sushi rolls, miso soup, and a house salad. The sushi was pretty average tasting for the price. The miso soup was the saltiest (and worst) miso soup I've ever tasted. I did like the dressing on the salad. The building is a little difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area. The bathrooms don't match the rest of the restaurant - they definitely need some cleaning and updating. It was also extremely stuffy and hot throughout the entire building. The service was very slow. There were maybe two other occupied tables during our time here. Our server sat near the front counter on her phone or tablet most of the time. After we were done eating, we had to walk up to her to ask for boxes and the check because she was so distracted. If you haven't been to a fantastic sushi restaurant before, you might find this restaurant checks all your boxes. However, if you have high expectations, find another restaurant.
The ambiance is nice and cozy, but not sweet-feeling. The sushi was predictable in a good way; for example, rainbow roll was a good rainbow roll, Seaweed salad was a regular, though fresh and yummy, seaweed salad. We don’t have anything mind-blowing, but this place is a solid choice for sushi downtown!

Out of the way place. Next to hotel but the storefront is not easy to spot off the main street. Rather nice interior with sports on 3 TV screens. Alcohol is served. Surprised they did not have takoyaki. Had the salmon teriyaki bento box. Good value. Close to the park.
