The drinks are amazing and so is the food, the atmosphere and music/dj is amazing.I’ve been a couple times when it’s kinda busy it’s fine but the second the bar is kinda full the bar get overwhelmed and it takes 30 mins to get anything including closing out.

This place has a very anime/ Japanese feel. Which is so cool. But This place is way to busy to really enjoy what it could be. They need a bigger place. There is no dance floor and I wish they would have played more Asian and anime music. And it takes forever to get drinks. I also spend more on drinks here than other bars.

The Bartenders here are really Friendly and nice, one of them makes really great roulette's and they are very knowledgeable about Japanese Products. The vibe here is really fun and it's nice to have a place where you feel like you aren't in Utah. Excited to see this place grow!

Such a sick Japanese themed bar in Downtown. It does have some anime influences around the actual bar itself. Bartenders were pretty knowledgable and were fun to converse with when they are not busy. The drinks are good and at a reasonable price.

Our bartender was above and beyond with the sake knowledge and recommendations. I'll probably avoid weekend nights though cause it was packed and there was no way we were ever going to get one of the super cool booths. Glad they're doing great though!

Somehow manages to feel authentic to the theme even in the middle of the Rockies. Staff is always wonderful.
The bar food is reasonably priced and fantastic. The sake menu is expansive, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the decor is AMAZING. I really did feel like I was in Tokyo. (If you were a 90s anime kid, you’ll LOVE the Space Cowboy booth, but all are expertly done.) Also I loved to see a real Japanese hi-ball on the menu. Will come again and again!

Decided to celebrate my birthday out with friends and wanted to check this place out. Our time at Sayonara was so much fun! While they have a very limited food menu, what they do serve is amazing! They have a cool vending machine with Japanese snacks and we were told they allow outside food (but that could have been a temporary thing). The service was great, the servers were all very attentive. The drinks...what can I say other than AWESOME! I ordered a couple different highballs and the Hojicha Old Fashioned (pictured) and they definitely didn't disappoint. I also tried everything my friends ordered and every single drink tasted fantastic. We will definitely be back to try more drinks!
