Enjoyed my first trip here. Had a big rowdy group which can be tough but they kept us well fed and drank. Had tuna and oyster apps, would do again. Sea bass was fantastic. Had a bite of pasta, can't remember the name but also fantastic.

It was a little try hard for me. There’s nothing particularly special about the atmosphere or space. We got a few dishes and they were fine, but no wow factor. I would come here again if someone else wanted to come, but probably not of my own accord.When the server says the crust of the cheesecake is tough… probably not a place that’s worth the $$.

SLC Eatery exceeded my expectations! We went for Sunday brunch and were so impressed by the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere. It felt very welcoming and comfortable. The menu offered a good variety of options including vegetarian and vegan fare. The coffee was also excellent. I highly recommend the huevos rancheros! Make a reservation if you plan on brunching so you are sure to get a table.

Really enjoyed my dinner here. Wagyu meatballs, octopus/pork skewers were amazing but the real stars of the show are the pastas. Coriander noodles were really delicious. Exceptional dessert. Can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend to anyone visiting SLC. Doubt you can do better.
Truly my favorite brunch in Salt Lake City. The dishes are creative and tasty, the cocktails perfect for brunch and the service could not be better. Never disappointed at SLC Eatery!

I don’t think I’ve ever been mad to leave a restaurant before coming to this one ? the food was incredibly tasteless, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place where plate after plate had ZERO flavor. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs, butternut squash tahini dip, Maza ricotta dumplings, and the Eatery burger. NO FLAVOR! The only dish that was good were the meatballs which was a “snack” on the menu, so it was a smaller portion. The entrees were incredibly disappointing and truly had no taste or spices or salt. The dumplings were the least tasty thing I’ve had in a long time. My husband and I were so confused, as we thought this was supposed to be a more creative, upscale restaurant. But it definitely fell flat. We left hangry because we weren’t satisfied with the food especially at the higher prices they were at. Do not recommend unless you like bland, weird food.

Our first visit to SLC Eatery, and we will definitely be back. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess, who promptly sat us for our reserved table. In very short order we were greeted by a member of the wait staff, who offered us water options and an intro to our server. Our server was attentive and well versed in the specials and the menu. All our courses were beautifully presented and cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. The house cocktail menu was diverse as was the wine menu. The overall restaurant has a good vibe and cozy decor. The location is close enough to downtown to be accessible, but far enough for parking to be easy and available.
