Really good place to stop in for soup and a sandwich. Not a far walk away from Sapp Bros truck stop. Or the truck wash. There is however no parking signs out front on Red wood but we parked there anyway. Glad we stopped and will be stopping here more often!

I go to soup kitchen almost every day but I wasn't feeling well on Friday and tried their Turkey Melt which comes with a side of chicken broth. It was the perfect thing to ease my sore throat and get me through my work day. Thank you soup kitchen for making food that always hits the spot.

I feel bad that I ate the sandwich before taking a picture but it was that good!!! I always judge Reuben sandwiches when they are available at a place and this one did not disappoint in the slightest! Everything was perfectly combined together and was the epitome of a Reuben. The split pea soup with ham was out of this world and I would order it again. I could pick out all of the flavors and each one had such depth to it. I would eat that again in a heartbeat. The bread sticks were also amazing! I am not sure what they put on top of it but holy manna is it full of flavor. If you go for nothing more than that soup and the bread sticks, you will not be disappointed!

The food is absolutely fantastic here. However the hours are terrible and when I tried to order extra bread sticks they said they couldn't because they wouldn't have enough for the rest of the day? This is not the first time they have not been able to do an order of bread sticks for this supposed reason. I have seen multiple people try to order extra bread sticks and be turned down. If you know people like your bread sticks so much, why not make enough to supply the demand? It just seems like poor business practice.

It's always a great day for soup. Warm your soul. Fresh bread ? sticks and a bowl ? of soup. The sandwiches are delicious as well. I love to get the pastrami with melted cheese.

A quaint little restaurant right next to some railroad tracks. There's not much else in the area, some autoshops, and whatnot. They keep some pretty limited hours only open on the week days from 10 am to 3 pm. My work will conflict with this one most of the time. At least it's close to where I live. I came in for the first time and got me a bowl of soup and a specialty sandwich. Now, the soup could have been warmer. I will have to ask next time if that occurs again. Now that sandwich was fantastic. The bacon was still hot, and it was so tasty. I will have to come again and try more of their dishes.

Great hidden gem! Some friends recommended this restaurant and I can't believe I haven't gone before (the name through me off and we all had a good laugh). I had the avocado BLT with swiss and a cup of split pea soup. Delicious! It's a no-frills, hole in the wall but it's got a great energy and the food is hearty. You order at the counter and the food is quickly brought out to a table. There is a soda machine and other beverages that are self-service. It's a small place, so I recommend getting their early for lunch. I definitely see myself eating there a lot in the future, especially when it's cold out and I just want a nice, warm bowl of homemade soup.

Chicken noodle soup was very tasty even though the cup was more noodles than soup. I also enjoyed the chicken avocado sandwich.

Broccoli cheese soup is chalky tasting, super bland, with not much broccoli, although there were two gigantic hunks of broccoli stem/stumps. Veggie sandwich was also not great. And there were no breadsticks like the other soup kitchen has. Also.. for some reason the place looks like a prison, or like an actual soup kitchen, as in, to feed the homeless. Peanut butter cookie was good though!Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sandwich.
