Spitz is such a fun, hip little restaurant, and this was our first time going to this location in Sugarhouse (we usually hit up the original downtown one). Awesome, friendly staff, and great vibe with the same hot pink tentrilled light fixture in the center of the room. It really looks like a place people go on a date to, but we went as a family and enjoyed the food, the music, the board/card games they had available to play, and the chalk board to draw on. They had plenty of high chairs and lower tables for the littles, so bring your family.Always get the pita bread, btw! It's the best and I dream of it always. Ahhhh!

Ordered online and requested they omit the corn from my salad and asked to substitute with Garbanzo beans. Got back to the office and a quarter of my bowl was corn. While picking up my food I asked for an extra spicy sauce/ condiment and they said I had to pay .75 and should have added to my online order. I'm used to the Cottonwood Heights location where all of the yummy sauces aren't extra and it's self serve. If I go back to Sugar House I will prob order in person so I can at least get my order correct especially when I left a tip for takeout ?

These folks were AMAZING yesterday. I called with less than 24 hours' notice and a catering order for 24 people. Between my first call and the time of delivery the next day, I needed to make changes three times. Not that I would recommend anyone do this...but the staff at Spitz Sugarhouse were SO KIND and so accommodating. They were right on time, right location (after a couple changes) ... the order was perfect. Everything was perfect. Thank you all so much for being so accommodating and on short notice. The lunch was a huge success and eveyrone loved the food!

The food at Spitz is consistently outstanding and different than any other restaurant in SLC. I could eat the Doquitos every day and never get tired of them.

I had their basket. I was expecting small samplings of the different foods. Nope, it was all mixed together in a bowl with greens like a salad. Yuck! I'm not too excited about this trend of throwing everything into a bowl and expect it to actually taste good. But, I'm willing to give some of the other dishes a try because it was a fun place.

Spitz is one of our most favorite places to eat but our first time eating at this location. The 3 of us ordered 3 street fries. I used Apple Pay to pay and declined leaving a tip. I always tip after our food is received and services were rendered. Then I can reward for excellent service or not if it is poor. I tapped print for my receipt but the man quickly wanted to move to the next person. I asked for my receipt and was charged 18% gratuity. When I told him that was incorrect I was told that was how they did it there. That was not the total I signed and agreed to pay. Our food was brought out very quickly but was cold. Not impressed and disappointing at their sneaky way to get you to pay almost 20% more for your meal.

Called an order in and they were quick and polite. Got the order home and although the ticket on the outside of the bag had our order correct, the order itself was not. The proteins were swapped between the two bowls and the extra tzatziki sauce was not in the bag. Delicious food though.
