We love this Starbucks! Every time we're in town we walk 2 miles to get there today was especially nice because the barista was so friendly and kind.

My experience this morning with the drive-through lady was horrible. She is racist. She messed up my order, I asked her to replace it because It was wrong. She told me she’s not and closed the window, I was waiting for her to replace my order. She came back and say that I need to get out of her drive way or she’ll call the police on me.

This is one my favorite stores! It is not plagued by a rude, entitled staff that has a dark or superiority complex, and everyone at this store is very friendly, rational and the store is not brought down by Salt Lake City’s annoying and criminal loitering problem (a result of no law enforcement). Lastly, this amazing store makes orders exactly as they are requested and the staff is so willing to modify an order upon the request of customers. This is the formula to a successful business and experience.
All of the above comments cannot, in ANY capacity, be said for the 421 East 400 South and the 80 South Main Street, Salt Lake City locations, both of which I will never, ever visit again!

I Love saying hello to my Starbucks friends. Every time I get a coffee I’m also served with a nice smile and great service. The best Starbucks in SLC

The employees at this location are incredible. I've never been a big Starbucks fan but these people have converted me. They learned my name, they hand write affirmations on my cup, they're cheerful and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs.
@StarbucksCoorporation y'all need to do a case study on this location.
Well done.

*Discriminatory against families and kids.* We have long been fans of this location, bringing our kiddos every Sunday for more than a year. They're toddlers, and they love the staff and the experience. But today we were told our family would not be welcome back and "should be kicked out" because of a new policy all Starbucks stores have regarding disruptive behavior. We asked for an explanation of what our kiddos, or we, did in violation because we always want to help our kids learn and because we've cherished this location and its staff. We were told our kiddos did nothing other than one of them touched a cup when we were ordering a second round of food and drinks. We asked again what was disruptive, and the staff member, who has been kind and helpful in the past, told us to read the policy and we wouldn't be welcome back with our kids.
We always want to help our kiddos learn, and we tend to leave public settings if they're being disruptive. We even offered to pay for whatever item one of them touched while we were making a second order. But today, our kiddos were sitting in their chairs eating and drinking their milks and being friendly with staff. No loud noises. No spills. No running. Nothing at all. So when we were approached and told we "should be kicked out" and would not be welcome back, we were shocked. The experience felt very discriminatory toward families and felt like a complete misuse of a policy that I support. No one wants to enjoy Sunday coffee around disruptive customers. But our family was just enjoying the day when we were unfairly and embarrassingly targeted. The worst part of the experience is that this ruined what had become a fun weekly Sunday outing for our kiddos.
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely horrible experience for kids, including the most well-behaved. Kids and their families will be asked to leave on almost no basis other than they are kids. See our review for the discriminatory experience we had.

Don’t ask them for extra anything. They are backwards here and will give you LESS of whatever it is you ask for. I am hitting myself over the head for thinking they would ever change (since this has happened multiple times only at this location) and wasting $7 on a drink that is undrinkable.

I’ve ordered twice from this store the hot Apple Carmel oat milk macchiato and both times I have received the iced. Why is the hot even on the menu if you are just going to give your customers iced drinks? Very disheartening I don’t think I will order from this specific store again.

Two out of the last four times I’ve been to this Starbucks. They’ve only filled my cup of coffee half full. one of those times the coffee wasn’t even hot. Surprising! Especially for what they’re charging.

The service here is lacking, and the staff seem to have minimal customer service skills. The manager, Amber, displays rudeness and unprofessionalism. My advice: consider finding a better Starbucks location.

We would like Starbucks to know and recognize Killian for her excellent performance and the inspired spirit of her co-workers in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere inside the store and with the drive in customers. She helps the store run efficiently and insures it is clean despite varying challenges. Her work makes Starbucks Foothill a destination for many comfortably happy customers.
