I had dinner there last night with a girlfriend of mine, the food is excellent, definitely a fine dining experience. Even though it's a steakhouse, they still have great variety on the menu. Cool, hip atmosphere and music, and excellent service . By the way, the bag of donuts is amazing. I will be back for sure, I highly recommend.

Made reservations for this place. Food was very good but on the pricey side. Staff and w¿server were awesome. Did get my order wrong but acknowledged and fixed it. Would definitely come back again.

A mediocre dining experience with an expensive price tag. The food was just okay. The menu prices were exorbitant, considering the quality and overall experience. I found myself questioning whether the hefty cost was truly justified. I've had far more remarkable meals at other establishments that left a lasting impression. The service was adequate, with attentive staff and timely delivery of dishes, but it didn't compensate for the lackluster food and overpriced menu.

Went there for the steak dinner deal and it did not disappoint. Great food with a glass of wine. Affordable and quick service. Music was also good and friendly servers.

I've been to many STK locations and to be fair, they just opened in the last couple months. When we walked in at 5p for our reservation, the place was virtually empty. That said, it took over 20 minutes to get seated and another 15 minutes before we had a server. There were plenty of STK workers there but apparently not the right kind to seat or serve. The server we drew was average at best, was not cheerful at all, and when we shared our frustration we got attitude instead of apologies. the wine list is solid, but considerably overpriced in general....$240 for En Route pinot noir, which even at Mastros is only $150 or so. The food was good, but portions small. Had a nice chat with one of the GMs....apparently the opening crew left a month ago, and finding servers in SLC w/qualifications to charge these prices don't exist. Will not go back and don't see this venture panning out for STK as it stands today. My dinner guest who hosts many events for his clients felt the same and prefers a hometown option when spending the big money.

Second time back in a week and I'm a fan. Great ambiance and music, service was spot on both times. Food wise I've stuck to the happy hour menu but they had me at the oysters. Delicious and their 3 oz filet was cooked perfectly. Nice touch that a sauce choice is included, too.

Ivan has been great. Fun, cordial and humble. Great asset for any hospitality. Any team would be great to have him.

My low rating is because the food and wine is just so overpriced that the whole experience feels like a volunteer mugging, where as if the prices were in line with quality I’d give a much higher score. So while we had a very good time it’s hard not to acknowledge the complaint of how over priced everything is. If you are going to try to be the most expensive place for oysters, steak, and everything in between, the food has to be outstanding not average, and you should have a really good wine list, instead they have an unimaginative list and sell bottles like Rombauer for $190, seriously? oysters were excellent, but a lot of the other dishes were just ok. I’d suggest Kimi’s or Edge Steak house.

First of all, our server Olivia was fantastic. She was very patient, fun and provided perfect food and drink recommendations. Secondly, the atmosphere and vibe were very Vegas-like in a more mellow way. The DJ played fun house music that wasn’t too loud or overwhelming. And last but definitely not least, the food was to die for! We had the surf and turf with steak and lobster tail, the bone in filet with a side of mashed potatoes, and 1/2 dozen oysters. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my mom’s 71st birthday. Thank you STK (especially Olivia)! We will definitely be back when we can afford it!

Really loud, overly crowded (I basically had my neighbor sitting in my lap yell-talking to his colleagues. I ordered the stuff and turf, steak was very unmemorable for an almost $100 cut of meat. Honestly the Old Fashioned and the pre-meal bread were the best things about my night, $170 later I don't think I'll be back.

Great location in the West Quarter near the Delta Center. Great interior and exterior space. This review is of their lunch burger. The famed loss-leader burger is really a very average steakhouse burger. If it was really ground up steak, then I question the quality of the steak used. There are far better burgers at this same price point all around. My burger was ordered medium and came out well done. Average fries that were soggy once I got below the first few fries.I’m excited to try the namesake steaks here, but coming for the lunch burgers isn’t really something I’d prioritize.
