Everything on the menu is bussin. The homie Benjamin was a great server. All employees very nice and approachable.
Another fantastic meal with friends at Stoneground! Awesome booth sat our group of 4 really comfortably. Great decor and vibe inside. Our server was excellent. The food was great as usual; I really enjoyed the slightly spicy Steve's Special penne, but others in our group really enjoyed their lasagna and black tagliatelle. The homemade pastas really set Stoneground apart. It's a really nice restaurant but they're not trying to be too fancy or pretentious about it. It's a super comfortable, enjoyable restaurant!
Our dinner experience was somewhat mixed. My partner had the marys chicken and it was really good. Perfectly cooked chicken with nice mashers and veg. Great reduction sauce. I ordered a pasta that was so salty I could not eat it also the clams were very gritty. The dish was a disaster. The beet salad was delicious and bread was super salty. That said it was an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is great and our server Vi was terrific. I would return but I would avoid the pasta. All of them are heavy cream based dishes. They have a great marinara it would be nice if they had pasta dishes using that in stead of cream, but that's me.
We chose to celebrate our 1st year anniversary at this restaurant and everything was perfect. The food, the ambiance and the service were spot on. They brought us a nice complementary dessert! Nice touch !
The pasta is definitely the star of the show. Had the agnolotti which was packed full of flavor and cooked nicely al dente. Had the pizza as well, toppings were fine but I wasn't a big fan of the crust. Was hoping for a neopolitan style pie and in my opinion the crust was a bit too thick for that. Had a good chew however and it held up to holding up to the toppings. Service was great!
This was my first time at Stoneground. The food was incredible. I had a filet mignon and it was one of the most tender filets I have ever eaten. The salad, appetizer, and dessert were all delicious. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, nicer lighting, decor, and ambiance. It was a busy night in town that night so service was good but just a little slow, still really good and our server was really attentive and helpful. If you're looking for a nice place for a business or special occasion, this place delivers
Great food, great staff, great everything! We have already been back again! Would go again and again! Loved the fried olives! 🫒

This place used to have the most amazing lasagna on the planet. It's been a year since I've been back last nights lasagna was a disappointment. It was all just cheese and noodles, no meat at all. It was like I was eating a vegetarian lasagna. The beet salad was good even though focaccia bread was a let down. It used to come out all puffed up and freshly cut at the table. Last night came out flat and precut. When you lose what made you special to begin with, your restaurant becomes like everybody else's.

Lasagna and Bolognese were both great... I hope to come back when there is more time for additional courses

Our server Hannah was incredible. Very knowledgeable about wine as well as food ingredients. She was very friendly but not smothering. We will definitely. Eat at Stoneground again soon.

Wow. Who knew you can find top shelf Italian food in Salt Lake City, Utah? The Black Tagliatelle is absolutely amazing. My server tonight (Vi) was charming and very attentive. Thank you for an amazing meal!

We read the reviews and we were looking forward to having a great Italian meal but it started off rocky. When we checked in with the host he said we are getting your table ready and he commented in a bit of a snobbish attitude “how did you find this place, it’s difficult to find”, and I’m thinking to myself, we’ll it’s listed on TripAdvisor, LOL, it’s not a Speakeasy! The host heads off to the main dining area and returns and he tries to seat us directly across from the host stand, literally 15’ away in a small room with literally 2 patrons. I asked to be seated in the main dining room and he said “let me see,” the host then returns and seats us in a booth that is the most uncomfortable booth I have ever sat in. I then requested to be seated at a table with conventional chairs, which he responds “I need to check and see if that is possible” and again he goes off somewhere to confirm. Ironically there were plenty of empty tables available all night long. Now the food review, at this price point I expect quality and service, and if a restaurant charges $12.00 for bread it should be excellent, not average. Unfortunately. the ceasar salad was bland over dressed, the olives were unmemorable and the gnocchi was hard as a rock. The pizza was basically a lazy recipe. Lastly, the service was terrible, we watched the waitress in the distance by the pizza area giggling forever with another coworker all the while ignoring all of her tables. Ultimately I had to get up from our table to request our check. At this price point one is better off going to Urban Hill or Capital Grill for a few more dollars and experiencing excellent food and service.
We ate at Stoneground the night before Thanksgiving. We sat in the lounge. It was perfect, from the food to the service. Wonderful night out! Enjoyed was the chef's special duck, bread service and lasagna 😋

The food was delicious! The staff was wonderful! There when needed but not looming or lurking! The ambiance was a bit dark for me, but my parents enjoyed it. I will definitely be back!

Amazing service friendly and helpful. We made a reservation and had zero wait time when we arrived on time and the table was ready. Food was amazing the cheese bread and lasagna were our favorites. It was romantic and warm vibe for a busy night.
