Small menu with a few vegan options. The owner was super nice and the food was delicious, but I wouldn't call the vegan burrito a "breakfast burrito". It's lots of veggies and some hashbrowns. Still yummy, but that was the only vegan option I saw.

The best place to have an affordable breakfast

Good food, friendliest people. I always stop for breakfast when I’m in town, and have done so 1-2/month for past couple of years. It’s a great place to start the day.

The food is amazing- the hash browns, the cinnamon rolls, even the coffee. The staff though, is even better. Some of the kindest people I've ever met. Thanks to Jules and Rick we found our son's lost wheelchair. We'll be back, again and again.

We stopped in for lunch and to grab cinnamon rolls to-go. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Don’t sleep on the BLT sandwich—bacon is salty and delicious. Nutella + banana crepe is also delicious. Will be back again ASAP for more.

cute place, great location, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. cinnamon rolls are always good. having known straw market in its heyday though it isn’t somewhere we go to often anymore. portions are really small, the burritos used to be the size of my arm, now they’re half the size yet cost more. i like the casual feel of the paper plates, but they have an extra sting when you’re looking down at a breakfast you paid $15 for and it’s on a paper plate? look at the images of the plates people posted 6 years ago, it makes me sad because i want to go there lol. the food does taste good, but it’s just not worth the price for what you get. i feel bad writing this, i like having a little diner breakfast joint in the neighborhood but every time i go im out 40 bucks and still hungry

Great experience! We were looking for an affordable eatery after spending so much in SLC and we were so surprised to see the bill was less than half that we would pay at other places. Wonderful service and friendly conversation by the woman working the register and the cook. She genuinely cared that we patroning the Straw Market! We got 3 $3 cinnamon rolls (which are vegan-friendly) and I ordered the vegan burrito with hashbrown and veggies - make sure to ask for salsa on the side as it enhances the flavor! ? We loved this place - one of our fav restaurants in SLC!!
