I work at the hospital here & will sometimes grab subway’s sandwich/meal of the day. Then something weird happened on Wednesday evening (4/23/25). I went down to get Wednesday’s sandwich of the day. The employee told me they were out of that sandwich. I asked if they could replace it with another sandwich from another day (like Thursday, give me Thursdays sandwich). I was told no. Seriously?!?! Yep, it was weird alright. Not sure if it was the employee or just bad policy. Either way, I can find something else to eat.

Honestly the serviced sucked here. Got 2 guys that seem they hate working here. Akward, no personality. Probably should be at a normal subway not one at the hospital where people are happy with newborns.
Ontop of that they couldn’t figure out how to use my coupon so I walked out. Wasted their 3 subs.

Went to the Subway in St Marks hospital, it's in the basement across from the cafeteria. I had to ring the bell for service. The young man came out from the back, not to talkative or not quite friendly. I was looking over the toppings while I waited for him.
The tomatoes had fuzzy mold on them, I asked him to please remove them and he just scooped out the bad ones. I ordered because the cafeteria closes at two pm and i was hungry. The cucumbers were mushy, everything did not taste fresh. My mistake was ordering and paying for this sandwich after I discovered what I did.
This place is dated and needs a total overhaul. I wish I could get my money back.

Guy here with the headband today came from the backroom picking his nose I told him not touch my sandwich and to wash his hands he refused to do both and kept touching my sandwich anyways while argued with me saying he didn't have anything in his nose so it was OK to pick it without washing his hands then he made sandwiches for several people after.Dear owner check the cameras and get rid of this guy that is disgusting!!! P.s. I recorded it and it is going on YouTube.

Very plain and old design, location really needs a remodel, it is also hard to find and for any future people needing to find this location, it is inside st marks hospital and you enter from the south side of the hospital about midway down at the main entrance(not ER entrance). They were out of most items and only one bread type… however the gentleman working was great and gave us a couple laughs. Food we got was good however cucumber tasted a bit off, still wouldn’t say avoid this location however be careful going to this location.

Went to the subway on 3197 s redwood rd Ordered 3 sandwiches thr meat stank so bad on one of the sandwiches tried the ham turned my stomach and for him both his sandwiches he tried the other one and got so sick someone needs to investigate what this place is doing wrong, tried to call but they don't answer there phones for anything this is the second time went here and they make us all sick won't be a 3rd time wasted 32.00 on rotten meats and food still recovering as we speak.

The man taking my order was very short and rude. Did not say a word to me the whole time, even to ask what kind of bread, toppings, or anything I needed. I wasn't sure if he was ready to do the toppings yet because another worker was already helping a customer there so I waited a second until the other man was almost done and when I started saying which toppings, he said, "I'm waiting on you" in a very demeaning tone

This subway usally have a long wait ⏲️ and the few employees they have seem ro be unsure, poorly trained and ? SLOW! Aside from that it is a typical Subway. Good subs, just as they all are. I have seen cleaner places that are kept up better, but all in all it is presentable and the atmosphere is nothing you'd get alarmed ⏰️ over. Management/owners need to remember- FAST FOOD NOT FINE DINNING! It is a sandwich in a plastic not a romantic candlelight dinner where you enjoying a glass of chardonnay, small talk and the company of another for the whole evening.We have witnessed several times people leaving, both from inside and the ? drive-thru because it was taking so long to get waited on with only or 3 people ahead of them. We have, ourselves, just drove on by if it looked like there was more than 1 or 2 people waiting. They really need to get their employee fixed real soon.This is MANAGEMENTS fault not the overwhelmed worker or two they may have. Also their store hours are hit and miss, you never know if they will be open for business when you get their. I am making the presumption that their single employee didn't show up for work (or something to that affect).If you know Subway then you know this one.The ChiVi ? seemed to have had an impact on the availability of certain menu items ? but that is getting better as the ?? ChiVi is not having the major impact it once had so that isn't the issue it was. Coincidentally they changed one of their vendors that supplied their ? meats and that may not have helped anything (speculation).Best thing I can say is we eat there on a regular basis, if we can get waited on, so that says something positive. Hmmm, I wonder if they will sell just a loaf of their bread they make, it is very good? !Hire some competent emoyees, a painting contractor and cleaning crew and spiffy up the outside, drive-thru and parking area!!!

Kid-friendliness: Might consider keeping younger children close or holding there hand to and from the parking area. The long narrow driveways could make stepping in front of a ? car a bit easier than normal and no room for a driver to take evasive maneuvers to avoid someone.

Parking: No front or side parking, you have to park in the back and walk around. Their propert is long and narrow. Because you must park in the rear you notice the store is a bit run down, dated and unkempt. That is something they should remedy. A little paint, tidy up and elbow grease would go a long way in making a better impression. Who wants to sit in a long, ? slow line looking at a mess?

Wheelchair accessibility: Not the greatest but doable with persistence.

The service here was great, but had a terrible experience with Subway app. The app is a piece of crap, and apparently deliveries are just as inconsistent as everywhere else. Inside the store the manager was very nice and accommodating when my wife came in to have our missed delivered order made again. Sounded like a number of other customers also called because their orders were delivered incorrectly after probably being made correctly. Everything we brought home was great. Never had a chance to taste the delivery because the driver was an idiot and gave us somebody else's order.

On 12/30 at 5:42 pm I called this location to cancel my order. It never stated you were located in st marks hospital until I couldn't find the location and called. I spoke to EVAN who said he was not trained on refunds from orders online and said " he tried calling his boss two times but he wouldn't answer". He pretty much said to call back. I told him I was going to keep calling until I got my money back because I called before it was made. He now refuses to answer the phone and my order said it was picked up. I want cameras pulled and everything, ain't nobody pick up my order. I need my money back or I will dispute the charge. This was not a little charge.
