I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at the Subway located at 1704 W North Temple in Salt Lake City. The issues began with their online ordering system, which was fraught with problems. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to place an order through their website or app, encountering persistent errors that rendered the service unusable. This mirrors similar complaints from other customers who have experienced issues with Subway’s online ordering platform. 

Frustrated, I decided to visit the store in person, only to find the environment severely lacking in cleanliness and comfort. The dining area was unkempt, with debris on the floors and tables that hadn’t been cleaned. Additionally, the noise level inside the store was uncomfortably high, making it difficult to enjoy a meal or hold a conversation.

To compound these issues, the customer service was subpar. The staff appeared indifferent and unresponsive to customer concerns, contributing to an overall unpleasant dining experience. Given these significant shortcomings in both their online and in-store services, I cannot recommend this Subway location to others.

This place does not honor online orders. When you order online and you come in, they will take care of the people in the store first no matter how they are in there. I watched many people walk up. The guy made the comment “ Oh I must of missed the order” which is impossible because the alarm that goes off is loud and the the lady asked about the order in Spanish and the Gabriel told her to do the walk ins.
Customer service was very short and to the point unless you spoke Spanish. I speak Spanish and they were extremely polite to the Latinos but very short with others.

Not cool. I will never go there again

Just left subway on north temple and 1700 west ordered new sandwich on menu roast beef 2x provolone garlic Aoli. Bread was old like from day olds, employee didn’t even know what that new sandwich consist of it was charged higher price than a regular normal roast beef sandwich I’ve had in the past. When I went back in I told him he didn’t make this with ingredients listed on menu he told me I had to tell him that I should’ve read it ? he’s the Spanish guy that works in the day and had no customer service experience just a smirk look on his face like was my fault. I’m Hispanic person as well and find that he’s not a person who should be working in a restaurant like this or any other being he doesn’t respect customers needs to make it right for him not knowing what subway products carry and ask the customer in a caring way he should. The other employee who was working with him seen that he wasn’t professional as well.

They close early today at 9pm instead of 930 like the sign says and they clearly don’t answer the phone. Instead she just looks at you through the window while she closes everything down. Horrible experience when traveling and yea I took time to write a review because we were hungry from this long drive

Don’t bother trying to be efficient at this place I order online for curbside was a bit early but still ended up waiting 7 min past there designated “pickup time” which btw ordered the sandwiches and it said 20 min till they were ready was outside with the here option selected for over 15 min ended having to go in to find my order just sitting on the counter almost cold and pick it up myself and to boot the sandwich’s were so under made it was ridiculous in the 15+ ish minutes I sat outside I only saw 3 people come and go so they weren’t busy it takes 2 mins to make a sandwich there was barely any toppings even though they were full sized sandwiches.

Does whoever manages this store know that the card reader has “been down” for over 2 weeks and the employees are unable to take card payment? After 3 times it gets a little ridiculous I just assume their card reader is always down.

What a bad service that is got today. I'm a truck driver and that's why i placed an online order. And when i reached the location the guy told they don't have any order i showed him everything the address it was exact same location and he told me not this location not this location. I didn't have much time to argue so i ordered again and he was just throwing everything on the sub and all of that in the middle at same spot no spreading. It was terrible was really disappointed.They should hire someone who really knows how to make sub and how to greet the customer.

I recently visited Subway and ordered the 12" veggies patty sub. The taste was consistent with what I've come to expect from Subway – fresh and satisfying. The staff was friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. One unique aspect is that this Subway is located within a gas station, which can be convenient for travelers. However, it's worth noting that restroom access is based on a purchase; you'll need to buy something to use the restroom, which might be a consideration for some customers. Overall, it was a typical Subway experience with no major complaints.

They didn't listen to our order so ended up charging us wrong and they don't follow what's on the menu, if it says it comes with a type of cheese then why ask me what cheese and every thing else. When you say the name of the sandwich your pretty much picking just the meat.
