I think this is best Thai and Myanmar cuisine in town. When you are in Salt Lake City, UT and never try this cuisine? You’re missing something. I will definitely go back there again to patronize there business. Clean restaurant , delicious food and nice people

Good value on the combo plate. Although this is a "Burmese-Thai" place, I'd stick to Burmese dishes if I ordered from here again. I ordered pad kee mao with chicken expecting flat rice noodles with a good amount of heat and wok hei and instead got spaghetti with baby corn and mushrooms reminiscent of the canned stuff my mom would make over rice... And not one Scoville of heat was detected :( On the other hand, the Yangon noodle salad was great! Super crisp fried tofu, bold fish sauce flavor, good spice level. So yeah, maybe stick to the Myanmar/Burma dishes when ordering from Wann Jale.

So the wife and i randomly came to this middle of no where GEM of a restaurant last night, we were kinda in the area looking for something to dine in on a lateish Monday night.. Luckily we did !!! The food here is awesome!! Very traditional and NOT westernized. if you been to Asia this is what you can find walking the streets. I will be coming back for sure for the breakfast.. I personally would like to thank the 2 restaurants I didnt eat at.

These were probably the best fresh spring rolls I've ever had. Both my boyfriend and I loved our dishes. I can't wait to go back and try more options.

This was excellent! I ordered the Mandalay Kobacha Curry and couldn't recommend it more. Got my spice at a 7 and it was scorcher for sure, but i may be kicking it up to an 8 next time.

I've rarely found a restaurant where the food is so good (did I say inexpensive?) and the service so friendly and accommodating. We asked for slight changes to two items we ordered, which they happily made) in addition to asking for a condiment (nom pla) which they didn't have on hand but took the time to make a small fresh batch for me. I only wish I lived in Salt Lake. I would be a regular. Going back tonight to try some Burmese dishes.

Ok we're going to Thai Delight which is amazing however we showed up for Bday dinner and they were only doing takeout major bummer. Some Asian guy getting takeout said go to Wann Jale it is really good. First of all service took forever and AC is busted. Ordered bunch of rice and noodle dishes all of which were seriously terrible. Best dish was sticky Mango rice but that's not why I go to a Thai restaurant for. I have no idea what all of the other reviews are talking about, food was so bad, flavors are all off too sweet not spicy.

Green is the best and the Yangon fried rice. It's just a walking distance from pilot flying j truck stop.

OMG we have drove past this place a bazillion times! I’m sooooo glad we stopped here!!!! Please stop in if you like Thai food. Worth it. Everything is prepped fresh!

I've been a regular here since they opened. The owner cooks fresh ingredients and the food is always extremely flavorful and colorful as a result. They are a bit binary on their spice levels (zero, or spicy) because their mild has a bit of a kick more like medium, but because it tastes so good, I don't even care. I highly recommend trying it out. Our favorites are: Fresh Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and another really good one I can't remember right now. We've tried a lot of items and always loved it.Confession, yesterday we ate there for lunch then again we ordered it in for dinner with my folks.

Thai & Myanmar cuisine,, glad I stopped in honestly doesn't look like much from the outside but inside its fresh and clean, which to me says a lot about an establishment. Not fancy but clean .After a long day at work I decided to pop in food was made relatively fast and seems quite fresh , I had the chicken pad Thai, it was very good ,spring roll was good not overly fried in what seems like dirty old oil at some places . I'll be back when I'm in the area .

OMG That was some of the best Thai I've had in a long time! Run down building so it looks sketchy but the girls inside were absolutely wonderful. Made me the best Thai salad I've ever ate. 5 Stars all day!
