I really liked it. :) Very nice service. Food was great! Just was a little bit salty for me, but I will definitely return.

I live in the 9th & 9th hood and I frequent every restaurant in the area regularly. I hadn't been to Thai Garden yet until this week, when a couple of old friends were visiting and I was taking them on a walking tour of the area. We decided to give Thai Garden a try (for lunch). I've eaten a lot of good (and average) Thai in my day... all over the country. And Thai Bistro was just kind of average in that continuum. The food was OK... nothing out of the ordinary. There is no "atmosphere" (as Google Reviews calls it). And the prices--especially for lunch--were high (relative to the quality and quantify of food). The very next night for example, the three of us had dinner at Trio... a long time favorite of mine... and we had more food--and better food--and the final bill with tip came out to be about $10 less. The service at Thai Garden was fine. It was basically a one-woman show... perhaps one of the owners... and considering she was by herself in the front of the house--and it was lunch time--on a weekday--she was able to pull it off respectably on her own... and was always friendly and up-beat. In terms of the food, we shared a large Tom Ka Gai and it was OK; I've had better; I've had worse. My friend got the pad thai... which wasn't on the lunch special menu so it was like $20... and had a weird sauce / flavor to it... but we kind of chalked it up to regional differences. I had the red curry lunch special with chicken... and, again, it was just OK.

So... if you're down for some fairly banal and unoffensive Thai food in the 9th and 9th area... that's a bit over-priced... Thai Garden will suffice. But if you want better food... there are better options in the area.

Really delicious Thai food! Loved the outdoor seating too. We tried the Massaman Curry and the Shrimp Pad Thai. Loved both! Our apps (calamari and spring rolls) were pretty great too as were the beers. Had a great night here! Definitely coming back!

We went with Thai Garden Bistro to cater a work lunch for 80 people and were very satisfied with everything! The food was delicious, they were very accommodating to all our requests and needs, and so helpful during pick up. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend them for your catering experience!

Food was good, service was really bad, and we were charged an automatic tip of 22%. They didn’t let us know and we accidentally tipped on top of that.

The Thai Garden Bistro was so cutesy right from the get go! The waitress welcomed us as soon as we came in, and she was so so sweet - she was like the sunshine that we needed on that cloudy day (hehe). The food wasn’t as good as I’d been hoping, but it was still fresh and hot so that was something. We ordered the Red Curry, Pad Thai noodles, and a bowl of Tom Yum soup (I could be wrong, I forgot exactly what we ordered but I have pictures so that might help). The Red Curry was my personal favorite, but honestly all curry I’ve tried at Thai restaurants have been good.

Panang chicken curry was great, good variety of veggies. Mango sticky rice is excellent. Neighborhood is hip, patio nice.

Wheelchair accessibility: Patio is accessible, inside has stairs. Might be access via back.

This place is a hidden gem in plain sight! The food was some of the best Thai food in salt lake. We got the fresh shrimp rolls, khao soi, and massaman curry.

Wonderful Thai food and even better service! Really cute outdoor patio. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from including several Unita beers! The drunken noodles were amazing! The shrimp pad Thai was also very good!
