Bagels are pretty good but the service was honestly awful. Didn’t greet us, didn’t ask us what we’d like, literally spoke once to us to tell us the total. It wasn’t even busy! There was no one when we walked in and only like 2 to go orders.
I did enjoy the Hava Tequila sandwich, it was yummy!

I have to second the opinions of previous reviews for the Bagel Project, the service is horrendous. Every single time we go here, the same staff member who has previously been mentioned before, is so incredibly rude it’s honestly a jump scare. The location is close to our house and the bagels are pretty good, but it’s not worth coming here anymore to be berated with negativity from this staff. Never once have I had decent interactions with the staff members here, in the 4 months we have been coming multiple times a week. I work in the food industry and have for 11 years, and I have never worked along someone who has the attitude these people have. I’m not sure what the deal is but I know it’s hard to wake up early and work downtown, but unfortunately the phrase “the customer pays your bills” is accurate and customer service should be looked at as a way to expand your field of knowledge, your community, a way to get to know your town. If you hate it that much, maybe find a new job. Not trying to be the snarky one leaving a public review, but I figure it’s worth leaving one at this point.

Rude staff- usually what deters me from coming back and subpar for an expensive bagel. If you want a real New York style bagel go to Cheryl's bagels 10 minutes away.

This place is truly delicious! I really love their bagels. Sweet or savory options. Tasty drip coffee as well.
Seating is tight, not because the store is small, but it's crowded and there's a lot of traffic - I recommend it as more of a get in and out place.
Please bring back the refrigerated coffee! ☕

I work with an older fellow from the east coast who really wanted a Lox bagel like the ones from home. We tried a bunch but none of them were quite right until we stumbled upon The Bagel Project. Now it’s a regular part of our weekly routine! The bagels are always so fresh and perfectly packed.

We ordered online and then drive to pick it up. My friend went inside and was back in less than a minute. The food smelled amazing, but we weren't and to eat it for about 40 minutes, so by that time, the bagels were pretty hard. I'm not sure if they would have been that way if we'd eaten them immediately. The bacon, egg, and cheese on a cinnamon bagel was delicious, even if a little dry. I'd definitely go again and see how a fresh bagel tastes.

This little bagel place did very nice bagels to take away. They were slightly on the doughy side but the fillings were novel and everything tasted great. I had hummus with vegetables on a salt bagel and found it delicious. The portions are generous.
I would say that the actual space isn't the best atmosphere and we did walk in to see a retainer on the floor, which was fairly gross. But it's close to a large park so it's probably somewhere worth grabbing to eat outside.

The food is great hands down. No complaint there. However, this man here should not be an employee. He is just oozing with negativity and pessimism. I couldn’t get my order in without his continual interruptions. His attitude it’s disgusting and does not belong in the service industry. I walked out and mentioned it to the guy behind me. He says, “ya he’s always like that.”
It’s unfortunate that the toxic nature of this employee far out shadows the positive equities of this shop. I will NEVER shop at this location again simply because of this one employee. To the owner, you can do better. Let this employee go and find someone who will work for you with pride.

This WAS my favorite bagel shop. The staff were, and still are, so friendly and work so hard. As of late something has changed in the management/ownership and it has been kind of a mess. They have re-done their ordering platform wiping away all rewards. For about 1 month they were not stocked with ingredients, even at open. It was to the point where I, someone who would order 2-3 times a week, couldn’t order my usual for almost a month. The bagels and service is still amazing but I feel like management really dropped their loyal customers.

This USED to be my favorite bagel shop; delicious, locally owned, now I will never go there again. I tried to order a dozen bagels for my office and the only thing I could order online was a sticker and some juice. I tried my Ipad, I tried my computer. Finally, I gave up and called the store. I was repeatedly told they could not take my order over the phone. Wha??? Do you have a pen, do you have a piece of paper, then you can take my order. I can pay when I come to pick it up. Heaven forbid we come up with a work around when technology fails.....
