The Quesadilla appetizer was great! Both sandwiches we ordered were also so good. Then We ended it with the best Pie. The blueberry sour cream. It was Excellent!! Server was so nice ans provided great service. Dodo is a staple to the Sugarhouse community!

Very good food. Everyone was happy with their selections. I have an egg allergy,so choosing vegan is usually my only option. The only thing I could find was tomato soup, which turned out to be very good.

Delicious, slightly slow service at times. Be warned that there is lots of background noise so it's not ideal for those with a hearing loss. Still great food!
Fine food, service, atmosphere, but just not all that interesting or special of experience.

Nearly perfect. This cozy cafe consistently gets high marks for fabulous food (more artichoke pie please) and attentive wait staff (never out of water or over taken by Sun) and fun atmosphere, dark wood high booths or easy patio surrounded by hedges. Now if they would just put in an underground parking garage all would be perfect.

A fabulous gathering for my birthday with loads of family. And grandson Aiden was our server...20 people. Emily at the bar and Izzy also helped.
This was my first time at Dodo...but a perfect atmosphere and gathering place.
Oh yeah going back.

We recently made a reservation at The Dodo for a date night and specifically asked if we could sit on the patio with our dog. We were told this would not be a problem, and the restaurant was listed as dog-friendly in our online search.
However, upon arrival, we were informed that only service dogs are allowed. When we asked for clarification, someone who appeared to be the manager came out—not to apologize, but to ask if we had questions about service dogs. He blamed the confusion on new staff but offered no apology or solution.
As someone new to the area looking for a fine dining experience, this was disappointing and felt dismissive. Thankfully, we found a truly dog-friendly restaurant just up the street that welcomed us warmly and saved our evening.
I would not recommend The Dodo based on this experience.

First of all, the salmon was fine but probably the least-tasty salmon dish I have had a restaurant. The dessert was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely, and our server was wonderful. My husband and I had a wonderful time despite the food not being quite up to expectations. We would go back, but I would just try a different dish!
