These Donuts are not Homer Simpson Donuts. They fit comfortably on a salad plate and are about the size of half head of cabbage to keep the comparison to salads. The taste however obliterates any salad . Think of a soft brioche with a winsome crumb filled with real pastry cream and slathered with chocolate (not quite a sugar glaze but not a ganache either). Trust me. You'll never crave a salad again. 🍩

This was a really cool breakfast spot, we tried a bunch of different options. Everything we got was amazing. We got the funeral potato pasty and miner’s breakfast pasty. We also got a cinnamon roll with vanilla icing, it was all amazing. Would recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed the Miner’s Breakfast Pastie and a Canyon Custard doughnut and they were great. Quiet Saturday morning eating in the restaurant. We would come again!!

OMG NOT WORTH IT😭 my maple bar was dry, old and stale!!! I called and asked politely if maybe I can drive over and I’m willing to drive over bc originally I ordered it on doordash to maybe switch it out for something more fresh if possible. I was met with hostility as the girl who answered the phone told me “idk what you want me to do about it” 🤦🏽♀️ I can’t even. And typically wouldn’t have cared but this is the 2nd time I’ve received a stale donut. I live in the neighborhood so imagine my excitement the 1st time I go here which was fantastic, the next 2 times was severely lacking in every aspect including the service and consistency.

This hike in the wall has a wonderful selection of "potpie-like" pastries that they refer to as pasties and mammoth sized yeast donuts. The breakfast party. I had the Miner's Breakfast Pasty and it was very tasty. The Chocolate Tantrum doughnut was a big hit with the family. Lots of options still to try - Bagel sandwiches, lunch/dinner options, etc. Very large portions. Definitely worth a visit.

Dough is appropriate as they taste and look like thick white bread with some sweet toppings. If you like thick dry bread this is your place. The cinnamon roll was the best item we tried. DON’T recommend the DOUGHnut items.
Great pasties but was hoping for shortcrust that are less over cooked! If you've never had British pasties before, then you're gonna love this place!

I have passed this place for years in the evening when they were closed. I have a different schedule now and finally got to check them out and got a bagel tuna sandwich for lunch and it was delicious!! I will most definitely be back. The donuts looked mouth watering good and even their mini shop on the shelves to the left was very well curated, great gifts to grab if you are heading to a party and need a host thank you gift. I highly recommend this place!

I've never in my 35 years on this earth had a bagel sandwich so good before. Have you ever taken a bite of food, stopped, stare at it and just be grateful to be alive to eat it? I did, every time I took a bite. I got the grumpy miner, and BYOB (onions bagel, sausage, scramble egg, American cheese) both toasted. Absolute 10/10. Will definitely exercise after each meal since I have to try the entire menu now. Food this good should be a crime!
