Stopped by at 7:38 and they were closed, doesn't make sense since the sign outside just said open from 7-midnight mon-sat... it's a Saturday and this is disappointing.

Place says open on google but is definitely not open and closed been at school for almost a month sucks to see as a freshman. No phone number also is ridiculous.

Listen, this place has fallen so far. Just go around and ask students about this place and they will all say that it was once good and now it is not. I bought a pizza here once. $10 for a personal pizza that is middle school lunch quality at best. I felt so cheated. I thought it was just a bad day so I tried it again a month or so later. It was still not great. I didn't finish it. The people who left 5 star reviews are employees and owners of this place. Just read the five star reviews. People don't talk like that. They are all fake reviews.

Pretty good pizza at a good price. I just wish that there were more pasta and sandwich options. More staff would be great too, can't help but feel that they're a little understaffed some nights

Really good pizza in the campus

Changed their hours from 2 AM to 12 AM. Pizzas are randomly so spicy that it is virtually inedible. Parts of the pizza does not have a crust half the time. You are usually waiting by the counter for someone to show up for 10 minutes. Also, they run out of food around 9 PM randomly throughout the week. And the staff turns off the lights when they don't want anyone to come in. If there is more than 2 people waiting for food expect 30 minutes to 2 hours for your food. These are all my experiences here.

Good crust. Late hours. Next to campus. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Unbelievably good pizza. So fresh, such good flavor, and I could eat the crust all by itself. :)

A hidden gem. Easily among the best pizza in SLC and among the best wings as well. Service is outstanding--attentive, caring, kind. The creative decor nicely complements the original historic building. The pizza is delicious. Best crust in SLC.

Was the third customer there when it opened and ordered a small pizza, but it took them almost 40 minutes to get my food out. I also asked for it to go and the server put it in a dine-in tray and when I asked for a box he threw it at me. Thank god the food wasn't burnt this time.

I usually don't rate the food served in university restaurants food court, as most of the times eating at the school union is out of the need to fill the stomach more than experiencing the cuisine or being a food connoisseur. However, this one couldn't go unnoticed. Stale pizza base, thus the pizza occupied the bin. Pizza is usually my first choice, because It can be made vegetarian easily. There are not many vegetarian options in the union. Hive pizzeria replaced papa Johns, because of racist comments from PJs ceo. But they couldn't replace the quality. The pizza base was hard even though they made garden pizza right in front of me while I waited patiently for 10 minutes. I do understand that the pro-rated cost n all that, but compromising on the quality of the base to make one sick is definitely a no no. The base was too stale and has gone hard to be consumed.

Specifically asked for veggie pizza without bell peppers because of a severe allergy. By the time the food was served, it was more effective to just swap pizzas with someone else rather than wait another 45 minutes for a correctly cooked pizza.

*UPDATE* I went back. I tried another pizza. It was called The Hive. Jalapeño. Sausage. Honey. All on a soupy marinara and box thin crust. Intriguing, but we'll stick with 3 stars. Actually tried this at the Student Union on the U it U campus. This spot took over for Papa Johns, which was removed from campus after remarks from the company's president. Anyway, they offer pizza and wings, so I went for a classic: pepperoni with cheese. The boxed personal offering came out hot and a little larger than average. The marinara was pretty soupy and dripped all over the box, which is good or bad depending on your sauce consistency preferences. The rest of the pizza was solid enough. You know, cheese, pepperoni, crust. Done. Not a lot of flavor going on, and a pretty par crust. There are two other pizza spots within walking distance that serve up more thoughtful offerings, but this is fine in a pinch.
