This Melting Pot still has the higher walls on the dining booths from a more intimate experience. I've been to several in the Midwest who have redesigned and lowered their walls to have more open seating areas - and it lessens the experience significantly. Part of the specialty of going to a Melting Pot is that you can feel like you're in your own space - and can have your own conversations without fear of others over hearing OR more importantly, of having to listen to OTHER's conversations. Food, service, etc. were as expected - very good. Would come here again if I visit SLC in the future.
All was great except your hosts. Checked in for my 8pm reservation 5min early. Said they would get us back soon. Watched others who came in after us get sat. Finally 10min after reservation time, I asked "how much longer for my 8pm reservation?" Genteel up front gave me the finger "one moment" female host said " looks like we already sat you". Clearly not, they ended up seating us in a very small booth. The only reason I'm giving 5 star is because the actual service was great. Just check on hosts attention to detail.
My server was great! My only complaint is the booth seat was dirty when we sat down and they sat us right next to the restroom: I would hope if I went out of my way to make a reservation my seat would be in a better section or spot.
Had an excellent dinner tonight. Seated promptly , service was excellent and food was delicious . We are from out of town , and can't wait to come back and dine here again ! Thank you Jason, Brooklyn and the rest of your crew !
Not great. Experience was rushed, over charged, no water refilled and just a chaotic experience.
The server was perfect. Very attentive and kind We enjoyed the meal and always the milk chocolate fondue
We got drinks, the waitress forgot to give us our IDs back (which is fine, this happens). We didn't realize- went back a couple of days later. The manager was very rude. Insisted this was our own fault and blamed the entire situation on us for not getting them back at the end of our night. He insisted they did not have the IDs. refused to allow us to talk with the waitress that helped us. Didn't even ask us who the waitress was and immediately stated he asked the waitress and they didn't have it- without even knowing who it was that helped us. He stated this has never happened at this restaurant and they did not have a protocol on where missing/forgotten IDs would be placed. Basically kicked us out and we still do not have our IDs. Coincidentally we are all of the sudden getting fraud on our credit cards- which has resulting in over $10,000 we have had to cancel and fight with the banks stating these are fraud charges... and now closing all of our cards to get new ones.
Such a wonderful evening celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday. The food and atmosphere were fantastic.
Outstanding our waiter Marc was so kind, personable and on top of things! He gave us great service and helped add to our perfect valentines night out! Thank you Marc!
I had an incredible dining experience at The Melting Pot! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a fun and memorable evening. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the menu and guiding us through the fondue experience with ease.
The cheese fondue was a definite highlight—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. We also tried the chocolate fondue for dessert, which was absolutely indulgent, with a variety of fresh fruits and treats to dip. The selection of meats and seafood for the main course was impressive, and the cooking process at the table made it interactive and enjoyable.
I also appreciate how they offer a variety of options to cater to different dietary preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone. Overall, it’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. The Melting Pot is perfect for date nights, celebrations, or even just a fun night out with friends. Highly recommended!

I had a great time at the melting pot last night. Tina F was our waitress and she was fun and also very helpful with our first time coming to the establishment. The manager was also pleasant as well. Now this food won’t fill you help, but it was nice meal to help you full, till you get home.
We did the 4-course meal for two and it delivered. Like all the drinks we had (piña colada, blackberry sage lemonade, and some tropic haven punches). Wasn’t feeling the sailors punch but overall this has been a great experience.

The food was incredible! But the parking lot connected to it ticketed us and 3 of our friends in separate cars. The signage is poor and the fine was high. Dugout out parking for your customers!
