Can't recommend this place enough. The service is the best I've seen. The servers work together and everyone works all the tables. The food comes out faster than any place I've seen. The other day I timed it. 4 minutes from order to delivery, and that is typical. Try the corned beef hash.

I brought in a group of 28 teen hockey players for a post game breakfast (I called ahead. They don’t take reservations, but started getting tables ready). The staff was fast, organized, friendly and kept our drinks full. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Great place with great prices.

Since 1982, The Park Cafe has been Salt Lake City's most popular destination for breakfast. Or so they say. So I came to see for myself. Located at 604 East 1300 South, in the Liberty Wells neighborhood, next to Liberty Park, it is open daily from 7 to 3 for breakfast and lunch. Before I got on the road for a 660-mile journey to North Platte, Nebraska, I enjoyed a hearty breakfast that was as good as advertised. I started with a cup of fruit and a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal with rolled oats, brown sugar and 2 percent milk. For the main event, I had a large plate of corn beef hash, slow roasted in house and grilled with onions, mushrooms, green peppers and park potatoes and topped with cheddar cheese and two scrambled eggs and served with toast and strawberry jam. And I washed it all down with a large glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.

2 out of 3 breakfasts served were outstanding. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious. The person having the overnight oats said they were great and ample. Unfortunately the vegetables in the omelette were raw and unappetizing.

Ok this place is legit. We just got take out but we'll be going back and having brunch there for sure. My friend got the French toast meal. Straightforward regular French toast. No bells or whistles, just really good bread dipped on a really good custard base and pan fried. Scrambled eggs were perfect and the bacon looked amazing. The fact that she was almost euphoric while eating it says it all.
I got the corned beef hash. OMG. Best corned beef hash I've had in a long time. Chunks of homemade corned beef shredded among potatoes, Bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. And over easy eggs that even after a nearly 10 minute drive home still had runny yokes. The only way it could have been better would have been to eat there and indulge in some should beverages with our brunch. 10/10 will be making this a regular brunch location.
Like I said we did take out, but the atmosphere makes us want to go back and never leave.

The Park Café is one of those places that perfectly blends food, atmosphere, and community. On our most recent visit, I ordered the vegan hash, while my wife had the biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were hearty, flavorful, and felt like they were made with care—comfort food with a touch of creativity.

If you can, ask for a table by the window. Looking out across Liberty Park, you’ll catch joggers weaving through the paths, dogs happily trotting on leashes, and fountains sparkling in the water. It creates this fun, urban backdrop that makes the meal feel even more alive. The vibe is friendly and easygoing, with a mix of locals and visitors soaking in the SLC charm.

Street parking can be a bit of a hunt, but it adds to the city feel, and once you’re inside, you quickly forget any hassle. For us, the Park Café isn’t just breakfast—it’s an experience. The energy, the view, and the food combine into something we always look forward to. A Salt Lake favorite that never disappoints.

We were stuck in SLC for the day, so decided to explore great brunch spots, and so glad we found The Park Cafe.

Incredible energy, clearly a favorite locals spot, awesome menu and delicious food. Perfect for groups of all sizes, especially with younger kids.

The surprise hit was the Porridge, which is made with chia, oats, quinoa and flax, rounded out with peanut butter, almond-coconut milk. Filling and so tasty.

Food was top tier quality. Their homemade jam paired well with everything: French toast, toast, pancakes. Tried their hot chocolate is probably one of my favorite treats.
Very busy atmosphere but their staff was able to rotate tables in and out in an efficient manner. Was told the wait would be about 45 minutes, but we were seated within 15 minutes.
Would definitely return to this place next time I’m in the SLC area.

Not sure how this place got so many good reviews. The food is extremely bland and lacking flavor.
