The Pie Pizzeria - Underground

We ordered a byop pizza with thin crust and an excess amount of loaded veggie toppings. I didn't realize when the pizza came to us but it didn't hold us back from finishing it and it was delicious. The joint is just next to the university campus and has really a fresh vibe with students around.

The pie is such an iconic Salt Lake City spot. whether you’re looking for a good university hang out spot or some amazing pizza this is the place to go. I went here with my family a bit ago and it was such a fun and delicious time. The service is fast most of the time and the pizza is great, we got the strawberry something pizza and something with artichokes I believe. Both were great though and a good value for our money. We also got wings and they were piping hot and delicious!

I would definitely recommend the Pie Pizzeria. It’s a fun and yummy establishment.

The cheese pull aparts are not what they used to be. It's probably a third as much cheese as there used to be, they don't even pull apart. Super disappointing. I raved to my in laws about them, and they were a 5 out of 10. Edible. The wise guy pizza started out 10/10, but with so much basil, it had high deminsihing marginal utility: each bite was less and less amazing.

Vulgar writing and male body parts on the walls. My kids did not need to see that. The writing needs to be reviewd by store management. Its extremely innapropriate and NOT family friendly. Customer Service is AWFUL. If you are reading this, it is your sign to avoid this plave. Employees are rude. Food is cheap and gross. No online ordering available most days you have to call in and carry ou. They dont deliver anywhere. 0/10.

What a great find! The pizza was fabulous and the staff was great. We mentioned that it was our first time and they totally helped us order and gave us a bunch of stickers. The walls were filled with great artifacts. Then we had a perfect pie!

We really enjoyed the pizza here, we had the stromboli pizza. My sister did not like the flavor of the pizza but loved the buffalo Mac and cheese. I thought the Mac and cheese was incredible too, but it was rich. Not something to eat in one sitting but excellent to split. Creamy and rich, cheesy yet spicy. One to crave for sure. The garlic cheese sticks were so good. We underestimated the size of the order. It was the only thing I could take a picture of. We all gobbled up on that pizza and Mac and cheese. As I said, pizza was good, but it was not of the normal so it is hard to judge. I liked it. Would we go back? Yes, for sure. It is pay to park on the street. The cashier said there was a parking lot behind the building. I have no idea were, I did not see one but for one at a gas station around the corner. Felt it was dark inside, but was cozy and had atmosphere. The salads looked huge and good, not sure what kind they were. Some city workers ordered them and I had to do a double take. They were in wooden bowls and heaping.
