I wish we could have gone in but they wouldn’t let our brown friend in. We showed up and the let all of us in (including my buddy with an invalid ID). As soon as they got to my non-white buddy they told him they couldn’t accept his valid passport. Probably just the guy at the front being an idiot at the door but it was a real bad look seeing how he was the only brown person there

Y'all they do indeed have free water here, you need to calm down. Tylor is a great bartender, drinks are yum, and this is a cool bar!

Great and affordable cocktails! Loved our bartender, Tylor! Would highly recommend stopping in for a drink if you’re looking for mellow, chill atmosphere.

One of my favorite bars in the city, the ambiance is perfect, amazing staff, wonderful drinks. And drag bingo every Thursday is just the best!

I loved the space and the atmosphere. We listened to a pretty good house dj during Pride Weekend. HOWEVER, I am knocking two stars off because they offer no free water. In my eyes, this is absolutely inexcusable for a public facility these days.. especially where they serve alcohol. Please please change this.

Great vibe. Great crowd. Great service. I will return and update if this was a fluke night but I doubt it. Place is solid. Go there.

If you're a bar serving your patrons alcohol, you must have free water. Terrible business practice to force your customers into paying $2 for single-use plastics that can be easily avoided. You'd have a lot less patrons if you weren't carrying on the legacy of Tinwell.

Their cocktail of the day was fantastic. Vibe of the bar was super weird though, it looked like it was intending to be an upscale experience but there were also four giant TVs playing sports games. It also appeared that their cocktail of the day was the only cocktail on their menu. Unsure if this used to be a different style bar or what was going on, but I hope they expand on their specialty cocktail options!

The door guy has a major attitude. He is very rude, aggressive and inconsiderate when he is outside. He is a completely different person inside, sweet and nice. He said I bothered him while he was on his phone thats why I got his attitude and aggressive behavior.I was refused tap water....I advised them it's illegal to refuse humans tap water at a facility that serves liquior. They said I could talk to the owner when he arrives. Then had the door man kick me out stating I was threatening the bar tender.

I was REFUSED to be given tap WATER...They said they pick and choose when they want their customers to PAY $2 plus a TIP for BOTTLED WATER.This is OUTRAGEOUS and INHUMANE!!

Great vibe and great value! Plus, you can order food from Proper Burger next door and bring it in to The Pines. Owner Will and bartenders are amazing.
