This place is a social gathering location above all else- there's room to fit a work or BDay party in, games for those that want to play, a modest but good selection of beer, craft beer, and alcohol, noise level is great for conversation, and the service is quick and friendly.

I was skeptical at first, but then got my head out of my a** and realized this is a local dive bar. I am someone who typically goes to high scale bars or restaurants - I got invited to this place cause mutual friends has considered this place to be “their spot” and not in the bad way where they are unwelcoming, but they like it so much they come every Friday and Saturday. People seem to fixate on the bouncer being rude, but it’s not the case. If you worked as a bouncer I think they’d get perspective. It’s a hard job to be a bouncer, the amount of bs you have to encounter is obscene. I have been here probably 10 times now, and I can only say good things. The bouncer , who I would hope would recognize me, looks and checks my id as if I have never been there, and I understand why. He is not willing to over look something and realize he screwed up. I can appreciate someone who takes the job seriously. The bar tender, jumper - is the nicest lady I’ve ever kind, a truly kind soul. She has recognized me after being here a couple of times - and knows what I drink and is so kind and patient. I really respect bars like this as I used to be a frequent at a bar in steamboat springs that operated similar to this bar does. With that said: This bar has always felt safe, in every and all terms. I appreciate this place as they have a great team, good drinks and clean bathrooms.

Super cute spot very roomy. But they don’t play music and the old man at the front is probably the rudest person I’ve ever met. He’s the reason this place only gets two stars :(

Maybe not the place for everybody. They close at 11. But people who know, they know. The Spot is one of the best places to chill and be in an environment for people who want to spend a good time surrounded by good people and the best bar staff in town. Its a place that feels like a neighborhood bar and of your chill and noce you’ll have rrhe best time.

This bar could be cool.... if they played music and didn't depend on the touch tunes for sound, if the door man wasn't such a grumpy wet blanket, if the drinks were reasonably priced, and if they were open past 11pm on a weekend.
Lastly, Jumper the bartender is a sweetheart and we all love her. That's why they get 2 stars from me.
The Spot is an all time favorite. I have never felt more at home than when I am at The Spot. I can’t wait to bring my twin brother here over Christmas.

We got here and at first it was great. Then it went downhill. And when I asked about the prices the bartender jumper said well you obviously can't afford to drink here. This is a dive bar and they act like it's a better bar than it it is. The bar is overpriced for what it is. I won't be returning to this establishment anytime soon.
