The bar was beautiful and cozy. My boyfriend had the smoked old fashioned and it was excellent, very well done. I had the sazerac, which was okay, but really had no absinthe flavor which is a big miss for me. The bartender was really great and attentive. My complaint-not necessarily the bar, but the hotel outside the bar smelled so overpowering like a cheap plug in air freshener. It really made me not want to go in the bar.

Took 10 minutes to be greeted and the server was very rude to my mother when she asked how she was doing. I’m annoyed and embarrassed I decided to take my family that was visiting from out of state here. We ordered the Chefs selection charcuterie & cheese for four people and WHOA. Do not order this!! It was comical what they brought out. I understand it was a bar bite, but to charge $29 for 4 pieces of pepperoni, a total of 8 pieces of cheeses and a whimpy size of nuts and olives is robbery. Our martinis were delicious, but trust me when I say you can get better service and your moneys worth of bar bites else where. Two thumbs down!!

Super cool swanky hotel bar. Low lighting and fun drinks definitely give it a “vault feel”. Todd was fantastic and gave us fun Utah pointers and made some delicious drinks. Would definitely go back

My husband and I enjoy going here for a night cap every now and again. My favorite drinking is the fruity and sweet pistol packin’ mama with a sidecar of cherries. The space has been refurbished and accommodates more people than the old space. It does fill up, so it’s best to go early or M-Th. The food is good but there aren’t many options. If you want a full meal make a reservation at Bambara.

Atmosphere was perfect. Exactly how you imagine a classic hotel bar. The drinks were perfectly crafted. Nick was very personable. I forget the other bartenders name tonight (which is stupid of me because all bartenders wear nametags in Utah), but he showed traits that I look for in a bartender. The bar was fully stocked. If there was a cocktail they weren't familiar with, they took great care to make it precisely and balanced. 10 out of 10. Will recommend when I have family visit.

Nick is fantastic; friendly and funny. He makes a wonderful Blackberry Moscow Mule. Service is amazing and he makes sure you are drinking something you truly enjoy!

Apparently place was just reopened after the renovation. Somehow you were able to notice all being new to people and things still looking their places. However effort is there and hope that they’ll make it. Nice decorating and style in the bar. The place is together the Monaco hotel and Bambara restaurant.
