Absolutely loved this place! The bartenders took their time and even made a drink for me that was off menu because I wanted vodka rather than the rum in one of their mint drinks. They explained what went into their drinks and were very friendly.

This is a relatively decent bar with very hippy atmosphere. I visited on a Friday night and felt like half of the people are so young they must still be of college age. People seemed to love the second floor since it has smaller space and groups can get more privacy. Around 11, things turned up for sure with more dancing and better music. Of course, if you want to chill there's space at the bar. The drink that I got was Prescription Julep and it's good! Tbh, I'm not a drinks person, anything with mint and lime will make me happy. I came here for the vibe and it was very much what I wanted.

Been here twice and enjoyed it both times. The cocktails are delicious and the service was easy going. This is definitely a hip spot and we enjoyed it early in the evening. It definitely gets crowded past 10pm on weekends but its it's a chill spot to enjoy a quality cocktail before the later hours.

Tinwell is my favorite cocktail bar in the city and it has definitely improved over time. My partner and I know to go early as the DJ/late night crowd isn't our scene and we have enjoyed ourselves every time. Chase and Michael are amazing! We value the conversation and craft of these two plus the quality ingredients is the drinks

You don't know me if you don't know that if the love doesn't feel like 90's R&B, then I don't want it. Tinwell, the love felt like 90's R&B, AND THEN SOME. I just wanted to go dancing. The old school kind of night dancing where you spend the entire night shaking your a** to a groovy beat. It was Hip Hop, Funk, and Latin Vibes on a Friday night and it did not disappoint. Get the Jameson and ginger beer. It's delicious Not the typical kind. The gourmet with a hard T kind LOL. Seriously? My favorite bar in SLC.

It was okay. I do not think I will go back, unless I had to. We had to wait for a drink for WAAAAY too long. I THINK IT WAS BY FAR THE LONGEST BATHROOM LINE EVER!! Only one bathroom!

Great bar, cozy feel and friendly. Came in on New Years for a couple drinks. The Tiki bar upstairs is great and the Tiki drink maker Stu was fantastic.

Went to Tinwell for Blaq Void. Shoulder to shoulder packed but this was the best night I've had all year! Great bar tenders and amazing local DJ's!

I threw my birthday party here, and they did an outstanding job. I had a lot of dietary restrictions for my group that they accommodated (peanut-free, onion-free, gluten-free, and vegan). I can't recommend them enough! Amy, the GM, is a dream to work with.

Writhing in youthful simplicity, this bar has an energy undiscovered in most SLC venues. Not your mid 90's commercialized nonsense by any means. You will not find Pit Bull. You will not find 50 Cent. You will however, find an unassuming crowd hellbent on enjoy themselves and embracing you for you. First time I've felt welcome at a bar in Salt Lake.

Hella cool! After presenting IDs and paying a small cover fee of $5 each (which goes to a good cause), my boyfriend and I walked in and were able to quickly be served at the bar. We found a seat not far away from the DJ and dance stage, and enjoyed their great music.

We found a seat not far away from the DJ and dance stage, and enjoyed their great music. We met one of the DJs that was playing later in the evening, Eddie, who we were unfortunately not able to stay and hear, but the two DJs we heard were outstanding and reminded us a lot of being on the Playa. Great vibe and good dancing here. We were also given a piece of paper in order to grow a chain-link of kindness. In a small back room, they had an area where you choose a good deed to do and we connected this deed to our chain links, leaving the bar only after hugging a few new friends and thinking about ways to encourage others to fi the same. Good people and great drinks!
