This Italian market is very good, you can find a great variety of Italian products, they have a small restaurant inside and the food is delicious, the sandwiches are very good with fresh bread, very good bread.

Hi Caputo's,

I want to start by saying that I genuinely appreciate your cute little market and what it offers. However, I consistently find the deli experience frustrating. I really want to love your sandwiches, but the flavors always seem so subdued and boring.

It's actually quite remarkable how you can assemble a sandwich with such high-quality ingredients and still have it taste so bland. I've tried a variety of your offerings, hoping for a different outcome, but each time I'm left feeling underwhelmed.

At this point, I think I'm done trying your food.

Sincerely,
Lucas

Just came in for some meats and cheeses for a meat and cheese board, and Eli was fantastic. Worked with me for 20 minutes or so and taught me a ton. He gave me some incredibke recommendations. The only problem now is, I have to share this with everybody else at the party. Big shout out to Eli for helping out and being so friendly.

Systems at business is weird, staff not very friendly unless you want to order expensive chocolate. Food was ok probably good for slc area if you live here best thing was soup of the day red pepper soup was very good probably wouldn't go back. Definitely better than the sugar house location not enough staff and very rude staff bad first experience.

Tried Caputo’s in Holladay for lunch today and it was good! Not overly busy, so we ordered and were served in a short amount of time. We had a half of the meatball sub and a half of the turkey sandwich. The meatballs were tender, moist and delicious as was the turkey sandwich. The olives that were served with the sandwiches were delightful, too. Lots of fun items to purchase in the store. From food to cookbooks to t-shirts and kitchen items. Place is clean and seemed to be well staffed.

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind the building

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

I guess I just got unlucky-I walked in went back to the deli and looked for signage, so I knew where to stand in line to order. There was no sign and so I asked the guy behind the counter. If I could order a sandwich to it he replied you need to go over there, which was the register. When I ordered my sandwich from the girl behind the register and said to her, it would be helpful if there was a sign telling One where to order she said oh well I would think you would come to the register. I received my tuna sandwich on bread that was 3 inches high and impossible to get into my mouth. To their Credit they made me another one on Center bread, but I found both sandwiches to be rather flavorless due to the tuna and too dry.

This place is fantastic! My only gripe would be checking out, line placements are too congested, and they don't seem to open two registers until the line is completely obsured. I would recommend finding a happy balance of when to open the second register to help clear out the lines faster, I spent almost 30 minutes in the line the other day and prior to the holidays spend about 10 minutes in the line. I love everything else about this place, everything!

I almost didn't give Caputo's a chance based on a couple of the lackluster/poor reviews but I'm glad I did. Fantastic food! We'll definitely be returning. The pastrami sandwich in particular was really good!

The full sandwiches are about 8 inches long and are pretty generous. Nice selection of cheeses, pasta, vinegars and chocolates too.
