They were only serving buffet. Everything was cold, sausage, bacon, potatoes all cold. They made fresh omelettes that were ok. The coffee was super bitter. They make it look nice in the pictures but you’re paying 35 Bucks for a low end hotel continental breakfast.

We were charged $73 dollars for the breakfast buffet. For watery powdered eggs, dry breads, burnt coffee, and more. I have never given a bad review because I’m not a picky eater and can usually tolerate anything. That breakfast was just bad. And we only got checked on 1 time. I hope in the future it becomes better.

Gotta love a service fee tacked on with no posting advising you it will be there…for a serve yourself buffet that’s already $30….

It's really hard to mess up basic breakfast meals. I had breakfast twice, and should have known better after the first time. Love the hotel and staff, but this was disappointing.

The food was overpriced it came cold they added a 10.50$ service fee to the bill for 3 people and said it was the tip but we could tip more if we liked. Won't go back

The omelette was amazing. Lots of ingredients to load up on. Server was a little stretched but did the best she could. Overall good breakfast.

A lot of problems with this place. Seats are uncomfortable. They are actually patio furniture. I asked if the iced tea was brewed and the server said it was brewed in the machine. No, no definitely not brewed when I tasted it. Food had very little seasoning and was swimming in oil. They forgot to give me silverware. They also forgot the toast I ordered until I reminded them when they stopped by half way through my breakfast. She brought it out and said oh yeah it was just sitting there waiting to be picked up. No prebussing dishes until I asked so that I could have room to fill out the bill receipt. And it was so windy through an open door to the patio that it actually blew a napkin off my lap. The toast was good though. Just best to avoid this place.

The food, service and atmosphere are all good. The Breakfast buffet was $26 per person which might have been worth it but I got a never before seen banana nut bread French toast off the main menu. The cost of OJ was $4 person. My companion got a similarly priced breakfast. What drives this overall rating down was the automatic $8 service charge added on which helped bring this breakfast price for 2 to over $63.

We were amazed by how good the banana bread French toast was and the Hilton breakfast!! The sweet cream with the French toast was DELICIOUS. Also I love Starbucks so that was nice to get too!

Peaceful at 8 am
Quiet inattentive server
Burnt coffee, completely undrinkable . He didn't check on drinks or ask about how we liked our food. I didn't say anything, just waited for him to ask. He didn't. The only thing on the plate that wasn't barely above room temperature was the potatoes, with WAY too much paprika. Over medium eggs with runny whites. Not only the worst server I ever had, I could barley eat half of what I ordered. Definitely the worst breakfast I ever ordered.

You can choose various breakfast items from the menu or breakfast buffet option. My favorite item is banana nut french toast. Coffe needs improvement. Service is great. Food is good but overpriced.

Very good breakfast with lots of options! We stayed at the hotel and this was a great way to get a quick breakfast with excellent options. Typically buffet with all the usuals. It was nice to have so much fruit and the bacon seemed more premium than some cheaper hotels. Overall very good and servers were helpful and friendly as well.

My wife and I were staying at the hotel and in spite of the negative reviews we decided to give it a chance. We made a reservation (not needed) and arrived and were quickly seated but we didn't see a server for about 10 minutes. We reviewed the menu and almost decided on the buffet based on what was described on the menu. While we were waiting for the server, I decided to have a look at the buffet. I'm glad I did because the menu description and the actual items were completely disconnected. There was no meat/cheese, minimal fruit, minimal pastries and hot food that I would expect from a Hampton or Home2. Not worth the price. Maybe it was an Easter morning thing but the table of about 10 was joking about how crappy it was, it tells you something! I ordered eggs Benedict and made sure to tell the server that I wanted runny eggs.(yolks) They delivered on that but the hollandaise sauce was basically water and tasted like it was from a powdered mix. My guess is that it was and the cook didn't use the correct ratio of water to mix. In addition, they sauced the English muffins and then put on the Canadian bacon and egg before dousing it in sauce again. All the sauce basically ran off. They then topped with green onions, not chives. The potatoes were closer to described but there wasn't a hint of caramelized onion anywhere. They were basically frozen food service potato wedges with a little bit of parsley. If you are going to charge premium prices, you should deliver on the menu description. In the end I ended up with soggy English muffins that soaked up the extremly loose sauce and quite honestly nearly perfectly poached eggs.

Excllent. Came into Salt Lake City for a food show for food experts. Had some of the absolute worst food of my life at the other places we ate, BUT this was the best food we ate the entire trip, hands down. It saved the entire reputation of the city.We had a breakfast hash, an eggs benedict, and avocado toast and had it delivered to our hotel. It arrived hot and perfect and was a level up of all expectations in preparation, taste, and plating. So much so that it was one of the few meals I did not get a photo of when we eat out.Even the potato sides where homemade from scratch, a rarity lately.Fresh and perfect avocado on thick homemade toast with beets and seasoning...so unique, with eggs perfectly cooked. The Eggs Benedict was one of the best ever.Everything was perfection. Redeemed that Salt Lake City can actually cook. And do it well.
