Our family really enjoys the food and friendly atmosphere. Birthday party for 9 was a hit!
Went to the spot on 9th. Food was excellent, everything tasted great and felt so fresh, I had to pry the salmon Rangoon away from my wife. Had Spencer as our server and he was awesome.

Tsunami is hands down the best sushi spot in Utah. Fresh fish, creative rolls, and flawless execution every time. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and quick with great recommendations. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, making it perfect for both date nights and celebrations. If you love sushi, this place should be at the top of your list!

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants. Service was great and food was delicious! This location feels a little crowded and there is usually a give waiting time. But I think it's worth it! A little expensive but really good at the end of the day

Always a winner! The food was delicious, as was the wine. The server was a delight and took good care of us! Let us move out the enjoy the lovely patio.
This is a really good option for sushi lovers and non-sushi lovers like me. They have a really good variety of options and the lunch box is the perfect deal for sushi lovers.
We love Tsunami and this location is smaller, but the food is delicious and the staff were wonderful. Lots of options for differing diets on the menu
Tsunami is the best just not this location. Go to the other ones. Slow service. We waited 40 min at 4pm the restaurant was empty.
Our food was very good, as usual and we enjoyed being out on the patio on a lovely night. However the service was incredibly slow, especially since it was a Tuesday night and the restaurant did not seem particularly crowded. I don't necessarily fault the server but we kept being told that the kitchen was backed up for large parties and if that was the case then they need to figure out a better way to work in the two top tables with the larger ones because all the two tops around us seemed to be getting very slow service.

Came here for my first time with my family for lunch & had a good experience. It's a cute little restaurant with pretty decent food. The servers were all really friendly & the atmosphere was nice. We ordered a variety of sushi to share & I got the lunch box special with teriyaki steak & the chicken wonton tacos were the best by far! The only downside was that we waited a long time for our food to arrive.
Great choices of unique and tasty rolls and sashimi. This was also an excellent sushi choice for take out in SLC. Fresh and flavorful.
Our server Kim was so pleasant! Our visits to Tsunami are always enjoyable and consistent with excellent service, atmosphere and sushi!
The Tsunami on 9th team is always extremely courteous and considerate, they are fast and responsive; the food comes out very quickly and is of excellent quality! We started going there so often, that we should probably considering buying shares in the business ;-)
Not quite what we expected. Went for a friends birthday, a party of 12 that they separated into 2 groups of 6 in booths with a wall in between. Not super conducive to celebrating the person we’re all there to support AND they charged us 20% auto gratuity.
Outside of that, our server was so-so. Didn’t check back on drinks or other needs from our table. She came by to take our order and deliver dishes, and deliver our bills, but NOTHING outside of that. She also seemed irritated by one of the people at our table asking for a take out container for something they couldn’t really provide—a noodle & broth dish. Why wouldn’t a restaurant provide everything to accommodate everything on their menu???
Food was decent, so compliments to the chefs, but beyond that, I don’t care to back to this location again.
