This was my second time here, first time for karaoke and I was super excited to go.
Bartender= 10/10. Amazing service.
I actually really like the vibe of this place. Karaoke, unfortunately; even after arriving early, and tipping the KJ, then writing down my songs, he gave someone who arrived very late my (second) song on the list, then after telling me I could sing again; then told me he wouldn’t have time; and then let the same girl sing again. He then said “If you tip me you might be able to sing again” which I replied: “I did tip you, twice;” following up with jokingly prodding at him, I causally jabbed: “my gift is my voice!” (lol) then I cheekily inquired, “how much did the other girl tip you?” (A rhetorical question, obviously..) to which he then replied “well she’s my friend so… she didn’t; but you can take your tip back” I said; “no I’m not going to do that. ( (Duh, that would be cruel!) ) But; as someone who just moved to the area and and a new comer, that’s not a very good impression.. and it made me feel bad.”
So basically; he blatantly let someone else sing the song I requested and then told me I should tip him after I already did and then told me I couldn’t sing again but let the same girl sing again because she was his friend and he told me she didn’t tip him.
The night started out alright but then he seemed to get carried away with wanting to be liked in some silly popularity thing more than being genuine and true about what the actual activity is… its karaoke… you know? Like come early ? you put in a list ? and you leave a tip so that you can sing ?
With that being said, the sound was great. I enjoyed singing here because of that, and the crowd engagement I had was incredible! I love singing and it is a huge part of my life. The favoritism was definitely interesting and the people here seem to be… unexcludingly… (if that’s not a word, we’re making it one here.. lol!!) but.. unexcludingly “inclusive” Anyway: I had heard a lot of great things about live music here… maybe karaoke is different I’m not sure but the overall situation left a bad enough taste in my mouth to leave this review.
Hopefully moving forward; karaoke here won’t be so… clique-y. Let’s evolve and treat people respectfully.
I hope you find this review to be constructive. Thank you though… for the good times too. I probably won’t be coming back here for karaoke like I would like to… as I wish I could enjoy it because I really liked the vibe and the sound of the lounge.

This place is awesome, all of the people are really friendly. It's a very safe bar overall with a very aestheticlly pleasing atmosphere. Their music sounds great as well. 10/10 the only bar I'll be going to!

I tried to meet a girl at a photo booth in the K-Mart in downtown Manhattan (R.I.P), but nothing materialized. But at Twilite … it’s not only the best photo booth but the “hottest” in town. I’ve been lonely recently, but Twilite is like going to Cheers, and everybody knows MY name. The vintage Pac-Man machine works, the pay phone is free, and though they don’t take SNAP benefits, it’s cheap enough to make you feel like royalty. Rachel is the best! 4.5 ⭐️s 🌝🎩
Had a terrible experience here last night. In under 20 minutes, was falsely incriminated by a territorial patron simply because I didn't want to engage. Was then thrown out by the woman hating bartender for no other reason than the fact that im a hetero female. I have contacted Better Business Bureau to report your establishment for practices in discrimination as well as drug trafficking I have witnessed on previous occasions. Cheers!
