Saw my fave band. Enjoyed the intimate venue. Parked around the corner and up the street, it was fine to walk.

The Urban lounge is consistently the best Venue in Salt Lake. Shows are small and intimate with a good atmosphere. I saw some of the beat shows ever at this venue. Drinks are Venue standard. Don't have too much fun here, my wife was physically removed by security when dancing with her friends and accused of "falling asleep at the stage" this of course was rather tramatic for her. Security should try treating people like humans and keep their hands to themselves unless actually necessary.

I went for a Mayor Hawthorne concert, it was sold out but the venue makes it feel roomy and comfortable. Didn't have a chance to try the food and I dont drink alcohol so can't say anything about that

Such a great venue for hardcore and metal shows. Stage is up close and only slightly raised so you’re really close to the bands.
Bands are great! Great atmosphere. Bar tender has a bad attitude. Don't think he likes his job.

Went to see Chat Pile on November 3rd at Urban Lounge. I understand this is a 21+ venue, but security was extremely rude to my boyfriend after he showed his vertical I.D. to get into the show. Security had eyes on him our entire time there, and even yelled at him for talking to people on the other side of the fence on their balcony.Great sound and atmosphere, but security needs to spend more of their time focusing on people actually causing trouble, and not just accusing people of trying to be sneaky.

Great little venue to see concerts (such as Cassette Drift). Friendly staff with drinks at a friendly price (sadly, no food and only 5 booths available for reservation). Nevertheless a great place!
