I was very disappointed and will not return This was our first time at Ivy. I was on the open Table website scrolling for a restaurant for lunch. I like the looks of this place. The bar looked interesting. When we arrived, the hostess showed us inside and set us at a high top table Some of the tables were not cleaned We were seated by a noisy group We revisited for the first time by our waiter promptly I asked for two tastings of the cab Sauvignon They did not have either available Which meant that they did not have any cabs Which meant that I would have to look for a different entrée as I was going to have the beef Bolognese We both ordered a cocktail Neither of us were very satisfied Our server did not check in with us to see if we were pleased until much later and by then it was too late The baked goat cheese was good The salmon crostini was fair We decided that we had had enough and paid for our meal and left But not before using the restroom Heaven for bed, anyone comes in with a wheelchair The hook was too high to reach and there is a big post in the ladies room that you have to navigate around It can't be up to code I am sorry it was such a sad experience, but I am looking forward to some other wonderful restaurants while visiting in Salt Lake city
Loved the Halloween PopUp Fright Club. Vibes were great. Drinks were good. Loved the apps, just wished there was a burger on the menu for my husband. Bites were small and we wanted dinner & drinks. Service was good & attentive.
Was excited to go here based on the reviews, all of them were wrong. First the host, was not at the stand so we walked in and were immediately asked to return back outside in the cold. They then check our IDs for us to sit at the bars where the service simply wasn't attentive and the food was by far the worst I have ever had. My kimchi bowl tasted like someone was emptying out their fridge and just put red pepper on it. It was also HuGE which made the different ingredients cook ever inconsistently, mushrooms were so small and overcooked whole my broke still had a crunch. The beef portion on the other hand was so small, that it felt like we got a lunch portion. Would not return even with the inKind discount
This is my first time dining here and I will give it another shot. A few things that were less than ideal. First off I show up at my reservation time and there's a long line out the door during a very cold and rainy night. Not sure what the holdup was, but by the time we got seated at our table, it had been 20 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes for anyone to come to the table, order drinks. Then she came back and we ordered appetizers and main dish. Our appetizer showed up before our drinks. I had a really nice cocktail, but my glass was only about 3/4 full at the most. It was just a few sips honestly. It was a busy Saturday night, but still some of the service issues seemed less than ideal. The food was really good.
We had limited time because of tickets to an event and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating! Food was terrific, cocktails imaginative.
wonderful and relaxing atmosphere in outdoor seating area considering it was downtown SLC, service attentive and food was wonderful
Wonderful meal. Cool vibe and atmosphere. Menu had eclectic dishes and cocktails. Definitely will return and definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.
Liked our food and server. But.. we were asked for our driver's licenses upon check in. I asked why, and was told it was due to Utah liquor laws. We weren't going to order drinks .. I was offended that our “papers” were checked (for no good reason).. I will not go to this restaurant again... ridiculous treatment of your patrons!!! booooo
We hand a group of 9 and more than half had issues with their food. Chicken was so dry it was referred to as “chicken jerky”. Had it recooked and second one was also dry to the point it wasn't eaten. Fish and chips were undercooked. Been here previously and loved the food but seems to be very hit or miss. We all wished we picked a different restaurant because no dish stood out. Service was very slow, took over 20 minutes just to get a bottled beer. Don't think any of us would spend the money to come here again.
incredible bar gearing up for halloween!

The food is always superb and I have yet to have anything but a fantastic server. Drinks are on par and the bartenders skills are second to none! They also have the most amazing patio. Highly suggest.
Food was excellent, but we were barely over an hour at our table and the waiter brought our check, and the restaurant wasn't busy and in need of tables ... we weren't done trying cocktails but that ended the dinner quickly. Maybe consider asking if your table if they are ready for their check instead of assuming ;) Otherwise excellent food, yum!
Found on Opentable and decided to try. Glad I did. Really good drinks and unusual menu. I'll go back.
The vibes were great, service was fantastic. The food was delicious. We ordered the beet hummus, Mediterranean salad, and the bolognese, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend if you're in the downtown SLC area.
Rented out the place for a sponsored party at a conference. Great food, great DJ, great location (near convention center and downtown), Great environment. Highly recommend!
