Sadly my order was wrong but I ate it anyeay. Fish was flavorless and oily but the slaw was tasty. Very nice service and they did give us a delicious dessert because of the order being wrong. Next time I will try the meatloaf or French dip!!

Restaurant was cute + tidy, our waitress was friendly and the BLT with Avocado was absolutely delicious. A picture of my plate didn’t happen because I devoured the sandwich too quickly. Bacon was thick and crispy!

Brunch reservation is a good idea. Get the Fried Chicken & Cap'n Crunch Toast. That is not a suggestion, but in fact a mandate. I would put it up against any chicken & waffles OR French toast I've ever had. Service was excellent, it was definitely busy and it's a pretty snug setup but we definitely want to come back to try more!

Violet is a super cute restaurant in Sugar House. We went for Sunday brunch and loved the small but diverse menu that included vegan and vegetarian options. We also appreciated that they were baby friendly. The restaurant is small, but the staff were efficiently working their way through the tables to ensure brief wait times. The outdoor area is also dog friendly. What we appreciated most was the delightful and kind staff who made our family feel welcome and well taken care of! We will be back!
Vegetarian options: They clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu.
Kid-friendliness: We visited with our baby. They had a high chair for him and the waiter even pushed him up nice and close to the table. The kitchen scrambled an egg for him and he loved it.

It’s hard to beat a great, locally owned and operated neighborhood restaurant. I’ve had most things on the menu but I particularly love the spaghetti bolognese. Hits the spot.
Came for a late lunch and sat outside on the patio for a great meal of meatloaf and fish and chips. The bubbly wine was a nice treat. If you're looking for a casual but excellent food / drinks certainly stop in this neighborhood trendy spot. Although we did not get any baked desserts, they looked sumptuous ! ?
