My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time and we were impressed by the service, atmosphere, and the food was very good. My wife had the chicken cordon Bleu with squid ink linguine and a mushroom sauce, it was excellent. I had the picanha (sirloin) steak with mushroom sauce and angel hair pasta, it was also excellent and cooked to a medium rare doneness. For our appetizer we choose the mushroom cream soup and Caesar salad, both wonderful. And for dessert we had the vanilla panne cotta, it was really delicious. I would come back here again.

The place is very charming and cozy. The service was great, the waitress was very attentive and kind with my wife, daughters and me. The food was delicious and the chef even came to our table to ask if everything was good. When visiting SLC again we will definitely come back.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Stunning, intimate, and seriously delicious. The burrata was pure luxury, the pasta light, tangy, and so fresh I’m still thinking about it. Vongole is officially my new favorite spot in SLC—part Soho speakeasy, part private Parisian dinner club. Cozy, chic, and dangerously easy to fall in love with. Will absolutely be back. 🍝✨

Food was absolutely AMAZING! The tiramisu was the best I've had in Utah and the wine list had my faves. I will definitely be back! Wan was an attentive and polite server!

Very cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and great food! Enjoyed the calamari & angel hair pasta with marinara and a waygu meatball! The wine flight was a nice touch as well.

The restaurant changed owners a couple of weeks ago and is still getting up to speed operationally. The service was courteous but a bit slow. The food was good, with a decent wine and beer selection, though the pours were on the lighter side. Pleasant atmosphere and a good vibe overall. I’d come back.

We really enjoyed the Caesar and burratta salads calamari and tiramisu. The service was exceptional without being overbearing. The space is cozy but a bit cramped

We came here with friend and our two young kids tonight. Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious!! And Clementine was an excellent, attentive server, who took the extra effort to treat the girls like grown ups and they felt very special. We will be back and recommend to others!

We arrived on time for our reservation but waited around 20 minutes for a table while standing in a tiny and cramped waiting area. The place was VERY understaffed and there wasn't a hostess so we waited a good 10 minutes before a waitress came and checked us in. A waiter did try to accommodate all the people waiting by bringing out another bench but he put it in front of the wine fridge so for the rest of the night any server getting wine out had to ask the customers seated on the bench to get up and move.

By the time we were seated, I'd seen how slow service was and the food coming out didn't look great but I told my husband but this was a new place and we wanted to give it a try. I told him if we got water in the next 20 minutes we would stay.

While we were waiting for our server, I watched two other parties wait to get helped at the front. I don't know if they had reservations but after waiting for a while with either no one coming to check them in or not getting a table they left.

About 20 minutes after being seated, our server finally came over to us. We'd planned to get appetizers originally but at this point we were starving and just ordered entrees and a wine flight. Our server did bring us over water and my glass had a prominent pink lipstick stain and didn't look like it been washed. I did tell our server and he got a new glass. Someone other than our server brought over the wine flight and set it down without telling us which wine was which. The wine glasses were on this flight serving tray where the glasses were set at different heights and it wasn't clear what was what. I thought the server would come back and tell us but he didn't. In fact, we didn't see him for the rest of the night as someone else brought our food and we had to ask another server for the check.

The food itself was okay. By the time we got our entrees, it was about an 1hr and 15 minutes since we walked in the door for two pasta dishes. The beef in the beef stroganoff was very chewy and the Bolognese (spelled Bolognaise on the menu) was pretty bland. But at this point we were starving and ate most of pasta save the beef in the stroganoff.

We wanted to support a new business and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was a bad night for them but I've been seeing more and more reviews with experiences like ours. Don't waste your time or your money.
