I've been to Xing Fu Tang a few times but today was my first time going on a weekend. It was PACKED and I was shocked to see there were only two people working. Really? On a holiday weekend?
The lines were long and the wait after putting in our order was really long too. I felt bad for the two girls working because they were nice but they seemed really stressed. Since there were so many people, there was a mix-up and someone picked up my order so I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for my drink. It was really frustrating to have to wait so long on what was supposed to be a stop at the boba shop during a night out with friends. It seems like a preventable issue because why on earth would there only be two people working on a Saturday night, especially on a HOLIDAY weekend. I hope this is not a regular thing, but I doubt I'll risk coming back on a weekend after what I experienced today. I have friends looking for work in the SLC area, so I know this is not a hiring issue. Owners, do better.

Super nice staff!!! First time visit Salt Lake City and went to 9th street and first stop at 幸福堂 to use the restroom, the lady staff offers me the key even before I ordered the drink. How thoughtful! The drink is beyond good, buba is chewy and tastes good, not too sweet and not too thick. The store is clean and tidy, all front staff are really nice who made delicious drink. A must stop place in Salt Lake City!

I had the matcha brown sugar boba and although it was very pretty, and the boba was good, I am not sure if they made it right… the bottom was warm and the top was cold. It made for a fairly gross drinking experience. Unlike anything I have had before that’s for sure. Is that how it is supposed to be?

Matcha and Thai Tea soft serve here is the best I would ever recommend! ❤️

Boba was fairly dense, did not care to finish it which is sad due to the high price. I wonder if it was because it was the middle of the day and they aren't constantly making fresh batches. Employee was quick and nice though

Xing Fu Tang is amazing! The brown sugar boba is always fresh and perfectly chewy, and the milk tea is super smooth and not overly sweet. Their strawberry bingsu is a must-try—light, fluffy shaved ice with sweet strawberries that’s perfect for sharing. Drinks and desserts look beautiful, taste even better, and the service is always fast and friendly. A must-try if you’re near 9th and 9th!

Excellent staff - always helpful and courteous. Pricing is inconsistent for our special order (large Jasmine Green Tea with brown sugar boba). Sometimes $4, 5, 7 and now set at $8. $8 price is high for the amount of labor (less than 1 minute) and ingredients need to make the drink. At Tea Bar in Sugarhouse, the same drink is $5.25 pre-tax. When it was priced at $5, it was worth going every day. Not so sure when priced at $8 ($8.70 if including tax) whether the calories and taste is worth the extra $3 in cost. Overall, great place. Not sure if we can afford to go there daily based on increase in price of our favorite drink.

The Two Workers this Afternoon really made my entire week with the amount of appreciation and care they took into making a creating an amazing drink for both me and my sister. Miah and August, I believe were the two workers and they deserve immense gratitude and respect from anybody that steps into Xing Fu tang. I highly recommend you guys try the matcha here, it’s delicious.

First time here. I got The strawberry bing xu, was delicious but overall unsatisfied with the ratio of shaved-ice-cream to cheesecake bites and strawberries. Too much ice-cream not enough toppings. I know the photo looks like there's plenty of toppings but you're wrong.

Second time here, this time with my son and niece. I ordered two drinks and asked for two extra bunnies on top (because, really, who can say no to cute bunnies?). Somehow, I ended up with one drink… and two bunnies. 😳

A little more attention to orders would go a long way. Drinks were decent, but at $8 for a medium, I was hoping for both better flavor and the right number of drinks.

And trying to add my number in for rewards…. Smh had to ask the cashier ( Jennifer ) twice to go back.

Oh and the “fortune” papers were missing in lots of drawers.

Would love to see consistency from business/owners.

We were only customers still take 15 minutes for simple drinks. The drinks were just average and overpriced. The shaved ice was excellent ⭐️
