If you haven’t been to Yellowfinn yet, you’re missing out! Food is dank, drinks are on point, service is stellar. This place hits it on all cylinders! Stop by and you won’t regret it

Tempura starter was amazing, I also had spicy pork fried rice which I thought was delicious and cooked well (though definitely spicy).Unfortunately we were given 3 chipped glasses with our water, and my coconut shrimp was undercooked and cool in the middle. We told them about it, and they replace d it, but they never apologized or asked us if we had accidentally eaten any of it.Terrible service and the location was about 50% full.

The sushi tostadas, agent orange, and Pinocchio are my favorites. Ask for a chef's special!

Stopped by for beers and couples of sushi rolls and it was very disappointing, it used to be better here. Both rolls tasted not fresh, rice was hard and had no seasoning to it. Service was prompt.

No sushi rice at 2:30pm on a Saturday? :( Was super excited to try but ended up leaving let down to find sushi elsewhere. Thankfully our super sweet server told us before we looked at the menu further and ordered drinks. Said it would be 40 minutes before they could make any sushi. Hope to try one day :(

Probably one the better restaurants around the area, I love the jalapeno poppers, they are packed full of tuna and has that sushi taste to them. The fried rice tastes and looks like homemade fried rice, if it weren't for the bbq beef I ordered along with it, it tastes kind of plain. I plan to come back to get sushi instead next time.

I went here to try a sushi roll and it was okay. The sauce they put on my rolls was pretty watery when it is usually thick. The service was lacking, the girl serving me took about 45 minutes to take my order.

Favorite sushi bar in SLC. Great variety, cool atmosphere. Can get a little loud when busy and a little hard to have a conversation with a big table.

Yellowfinn is a Sugar House gem serving exquisite Japanese food in an environment that exudes major neighborhood pub energy. I don't recall ever feeling more at home or authentically welcomed to a place on my first visit. The menu is about 80% gluten free, so it makes it easy for diners with those issues.I recommend the hamachi nigiri, Utah roll and tempura banana for dessert. The creamesicle saketini is perfect. This is a place you need to try.

Found this place looking for something that wasn't packed during the holiday shopping madness. This place is tucked away and had great atmospehere. The service was really quite good and the sushi we all thought was fantastic. Their spicy rolls were the best! Would recommend to family and friends!
